I know, I'm a noob, but can you inhale tea?

I have recently been corresponding with an expert in all matters Chinese, a Mr B. Oiling-Water. He has suggested an excellent accompaniment to our tobacco habit, know to him as "tea". Apparently you take leaves (sounds like tobacco), steep them in hot water, and drink the resultant fluid. This can be used to remove tar/sludge deposited on the back of the throat by B&H. Also it can be ordered directly from FastTea in Honk Konk at considerable savings compared to normal B&M prices. What do you guys think?

Yes tea has been a long time favourite accompaniment of mine also. I remember before i was 10 years old and when i was skint (which you would be at 10 years old) We would take tea and rip open the bag into a rolly paper. Then we found something to stop all the tea falling out of the paper tube. normally a discarded ... ..... and hey presto free fags for ever man:toast:
We also experimented with mown grass that had been drying in the sun for a superb throat hit. And eventually went onto try dried banana skins mixed with tea and sun dried grass. We called it the choker. A young boys dream *hack hack*
Oh the memories

...dried grass...

For some silly reason, in the Netherlands you're only allowed a maximum of 5 grams of dried grass, for individual use, whatever that means. That's why after mowing your lawn you have to get rid of your grass while still wet. When you let it dry, you're in for some big trouble.

If I set fire to the tea, will it function like a Lampe Bergier?

I had to Wikipedia that (it's a called a "Fragrance Lamp," to those of us living on the correct side of the planet), the hazards are frightening! I can't believe the FDA would allow something like that to be sold! It's far worse than those disgusting e-cigarettes! It releases ozone!

  • Ozone has been proven to trigger asthma, causing breathing difficulty and fatal to those in bad health condition.[1]
  • Ozone will be able to remove smell, virus and bacteria only in high concentration which is beyond public health standards.[1][2]
  • Ozone is very reactive; it will react with many chemical compounds and form a variety of aldehydes. In an experiment performed in 1992, total concentration of organic chemicals in the air increased rather than decreased after the introduction of ozone.[3]
After reading all those hazards, who would possible care if it has holes in it? It must be gotten rid of! The insanity must stop!

Golly - I thought we were talking about a newby set-up for tobacco. Obviously there is snus - but you don't burn it and it gives you mouth cancer. Will I endorse this product - NO! You'll have better luck with vaping (but all the cool kids keep smoking the lovely leaf that is tobacco). I guess that the snus boys are just pretending that they've given up vaping. They haven't. They are in the way of the tobacco project and should have their own entirely separate forum imho. Just sayin...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't there a chewing alternative to snus? I believe it has benefits closer to smoking tobacco and also involves spitting, which is very attractive.

Of course you are right - there is a "chaw of tobacco"! Spittoon is essential - Ping- - and death follows soon after. What fun!

Hi guys,
I know it's been a while since I posted here, but long story short, the gas station where I got my cigarettes burned to the ground. I was desperate, so I got out my old ecig stuff to use while looking for a new gas station. The days turned into weeks, and I was back on vaping.

Yesterday, my girlfriend gently pointed out that I was starting to not stink. I panicked, and searched for a place to get cigarettes again. I couldn't find cigarettes, but found a place that sold cigars... They were pricey, but at least I'm not vaping anymore. It's been 15 whole minutes for me - wish me luck!

Edit - I got cigars, but don't really know how they compare to cigarettes. Are they good?

See everyone finishes up with a cigar. We should always just tell the noobs to get a cigar right from the start - they'll save all that time money by not messing around with inferior cigarettes.

Has anyone else noticed in these forums that any time someone asks about cigarettes and you try to give a logical, balanced reponse as to what to expect, you get attacked by half a dozen cigar fanboys/trolls?

I don't think cigarettes are the best thing since sliced cheese. I don't think that about cigars, either... or ANYTHING I use for that matter, and not just smoking supplies. To me, everything you purchase has pros and cons and it's a matter of weighing out what you value the most... You guys are as bad as VV vs VW nazzis! I thought I'd left all that behind!

How totally fab! That gives you plenty of time to build a barn and perhaps even get a good crop of hay growing. Grass hay mind you, alfalfa makes them a bit too spunky.

Wasn't Alf Alfa the lead singer in a death metal band? Is this what he's up to nowadays? I hope not - it all sounds a bit suspect to me...

I have to disagree about the alfalfa, it helps to keep them regular. You don't want those tea beans to take too long through the animals digestive system, plus if you need an emergency smoke you don't want to be waiting all day for production. Once processed a combination of hay and alfalfa makes an excellent tobacco substitute!

You silly person! You obviously have never owned equines! Alfalfa is a legume, not forage. Even processed it would be like smoking mushy peas.

And tea beans go through the digestive tracts of pangolins (not ocelots as some rude member suggested), which should not be confused with mandolins, since that is another type of thing altogether.

So, sir, put that in your garden fish tank and smoke it.
