I have been vaping Hot Cinammon ejuice from High caliber for about 2 months straight now. I went to the dentist yesterday and they noticed some odd things inside my mouth. First, I am having issues with my gums on one side of my mouth becoming inflamed and irritated. Second, they noticed that in between my gums and my cheek on one side that there are white spots that look like I burned my mouth. I never said anything about vaping to them just because I'm so tired of having to explain what it is, etc to people. I just acted dumb to the whole issue and carried on while wondering if its this cinnamon i love so dearly.

Could this all be from the cinnamon?

Is the side of your mouth that is in having issues the same side in which you draw from your vape? They say cinnamon can crack tanks so I suppose it's possible. What ratio of PG are you vaping?

Definitely on the side of the mouth that I draw on. Now that you mention it, I was suspect of this and switch to the left side. this morning the gums on the upper side over there are starting to bother me. Definitely this cinnamon juice.

cinnamon is a spice hence some spices tend to be corrosive like citrus , used for cooking and recipies of course cinnamon
is used in low quanities , you ever see on you tube people doing that cinnamon challenge where they put a spoon full in their mouths and it burns and they gag on it ? ,,,,,, there ya go that's why they call it challenge cause it burns , guarantee you watch them do that challenge 1 time you wont use that juice anymore ....... that's prob whats happening to you the cinnamon is burning your mouth

Cinnamon is antibacterial and antiviral. Now when vaporized, it may cause adverse reactions. Not to mention it's also irritating if you get to much as the previous poster stated. I think last week that was research article that stated a cinnamon bun flavor tested was actually cytotoxic. Personally, I've decided to stay away from cinnamon or any flavors that shown to have adverse health effects from peer reviewed research. Meta-analysis anybody?

Very possible. I recently had an e-liquid that caused my gums to bleed. I switched off of it and it cleared up right away. I have some food allergies so I figured it might have something to do with that.

I also took to carrying a travel sized bottle of mouthwash with me to use at work. Just in case it happens with another flavor.

I would like to also add that cinnamon flavored e-liquids have been causing me problems.

Unfortunately for me, out of the 40+ flavors I have tried, Cinnamon Sugar is my favorite.

Cinnamon Sugar flavored e-liquid RUINED my pro tank. The kanger pro tank was marketed as a BCC that was pyrex, and meant to be used with juices that you couldn't use in polycarb plastic tanks. This is untrue. The cinnamon unfortunately MELTS the glue in the Pro tank, causing it to fall apart rather quickly. This has happened to me and MANY others. This is why Kanger actually updated their pro tank ONE (pt1) to be glue-free, because the cinnamon and perhaps other flavors were melting the glue.

If the cinnamon is melting the glue in a pro tank, imagine what else it might be doing to YOU. Of course, some will say that melting the glue is a chemical reaction, and our body tissue shouldn't be affected. While I understand that concept, that doesn't negate the possibility that cinnamon can cause irritation, and possibly worse issues.

Yes, all I have vaped for the past 3 weeks has pretty much been cinnamon sugar, but unfortunately, I'm going to have to find another e-liquid I enjoy for my ADV.

i dont like cinnamon i just might try this out to see what happens like a science experment

Ironically, I never would have thought I would have liked a cinnamon flavored e-liquid. I can't remember the last time I had ANY food product with ANY cinnamon taste/flavoring in it. I don't really like cinnamon. However, cinnamon sugar e-liquid has been my FAVORITE. I actually got it as a free sample, and fell in love instantly.

For some reason, the e-liquid flavors I thought I'd LOVE, I ended up not liking....and the ones I NEVER would have imagined liking, I fell in love with. Very weird.
