I know that cinnamon is a tank cracker, but I was wondering if that was only when you use it as a single flavor? I have a cookie flavor and I was wondering if I should be careful when I add a few drops of cinnamon to a cookie mix? I just don't want to ruin anything. Thanks for the help.

Cinnamon is definitely worse as a single flavor, but my experience has been that even when mixed with other flavors it will at least etch the inside of your tank. With just a few drops the effect would likely be minimal but would likely still be there and you'd still be vaping a certain amount of plastic. Cinnamon is my very favorite flavor and I have finally gone to glass tanks. The difference is amazing and now I won't be buying new plastic tanks once a week. Good luck.
So if a little bit of cinnamon is dangerous to plastic tanks, what does it do to the bottle that it's stored in? Should it be stored in a glass bottle? I've just started making my own (as in only mixed 2 bottles that need steeping, so I haven't even been able to use them yet); and I've never used cinnamon, so I apologize if these are stupid questions.
I vaped dozens of cinnamon liquids in plastic tanks for the first year, before pyrex became the normal.

I never actually cracked a tank either, but they all got etched badly on the inside. I mixed a grapefruit that actually made a couple of tanks fall apart after only three or four draws, though. That's what made me finally realize I had to go to glass.
I use glass all around my DIY, some plastics are not bothered by tank cracker type liquids, but I presume they aren't suitable for making tanks. Why I can't answer.
Glass has its downfalls, droppers aren't the most secure type closure, but you can't get everything in one package can you.

The clear polycarbonate is the material that has problems. The softer translucent (polypropylene?) does not react chemically with the "tank cracker" flavors.
I never had a tank crack with anything but Anise when I first started mixing. Then I found that steeping (week or more) was key to releasing the heavy solvents used for extraction. Let your juice air for a day or two then steep for at least a week and nothing should crack your tanks. I use it all Citrus, Anise, Cinnamon whatever no problem. I even vaped my Anise based juice in an H2 clearomizer which are some of the cheapest plastic tanks available. I have all types of tanks for testing ranging from C4, C5, H2, Evod clones, iClear30's, iSmoka BCC, Vivi and Kayfun clones.
It's best to always test your juice in a cheap clearo before using it in your most expensive tank.
