help with cisco laser ponter mod

I am still awaiting the supplies to begin my first mod,
but I am unsure about the quality of the 901 atty's,
do I use the low resistance one's ? or not?
unprotected batteries or protected?
I have downloaded the PDF from cisco,
but there is some info missing,
can anyone post a list of supplies needed for this mod?
and the best suppliers?

okay, still researching, but,
my main question is, do I need a low resistance 901 atomizer with this mod?
