Clarifications and advice about the Vamo from Healthcabin

Hey everyone,

I have some clarifications and advice needed before purchasing my first ever PV from healthcabin.net.

Is it true that the Vamo is also called the eGo Bamboo? I was trying to put together a VV PV from healthcabin and came across this: eGo Bamboo APV V2 (Stainless Body) [D-B4 APV Stainless] - $43.50 : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail

Can anyone who has purchased from healthcabin or know about the Vamo give me some tips? I understand that I would also need batteries and chargers for this to work and I have absolutely no idea what to get from the website itself.

I would be so grateful if you could provide me with a list of links of what to purchase from healthcabin to build my first Vamo PV!

The Bamboo is what Health Cabin calls the VAMO for reasons I don't really understand. However, I got my stainless steel VAMO from them and it was shipped promptly and arrived in perfect condition. Health Cabin is a well-respected vendor on ECF and they have their own ECF forum.

You don't say where you live but I'm guessing that you need international shipping. If that is the case you can get these batteries and a charger from fast tech. I've ordered batteries from them and they ship very quickly.

I'm afraid I don't know an international shipper for IMR 18350 batteries which you use for using the VAMO in shorty mode or for stacking. Hopefully, someone will be along that can help you with finding those batteries.

If you don't need international shipping RTD Vapors is a good source for batteries. Amazon has the Nitecore i4 charger for a good price as well as some eBay sellers. Make sure you get the most recent version if buying on eBay.

I would trust what Health Cabin sends out over the VAMOs that are being sold in the U.S. at bargain prices. Health Cabin has very good customer service and they sell a ton of stuff which gives them clout with Chinese manufacturers including that of of the VAMO.

Thank you so much for your replies! I actually live in Singapore so I'll need international shipping either way. However I was hoping that I could order everything through healthcabin and ship it all together. Can you recommend me batteries or chargers from the healthcabin website itself?

Don't order batteries or juice from Health Cabin without checking their site or ECF thread first. There seems to be an issue with shipping those items through DHL or China Post. Singapore is tough because e-cigs are illegal there and the authorities have gotten quite nasty about it.

It seems like they have removed the notification regarding shipping on their website though. Hmm I guess I'll see what I can do. I have a couple of buddies who ordered theirs and they received it with no problems.

When I quickly checked Health Cabin's site I didn't see any batteries suitable for the VAMO for sale. The Panasonics to which I linked are hybrids which will work great. Other than the Panasonics you need to get IMR 18350s or 18650s. The IMR part is very important.

Seriously? Such a broad statement without substance.

Health Cabin were also the First to acknowledge the Spring issue and were the First to provide new Hot springs to All their Vamo customers - No Quibble and Free of Charge.

You are correct. You don't need any batteries other than the Panasonics unless you want to run your VAMO in shorty or stacked mode. Those modes require IMR 18350s.

So would you recommend the EVOD over the Kanger T3? I'm asking because the lower capacity of the EVOD tank kinda puts me off as I have to refill while I'm at work with my current tank which holds 1.8ml.

Just make absolute sure the Panasonics are UNPROTECTED and HIGH DRAIN- Vamo's have protection circuitry in them and in general protected batts won't work in the Vamo. As far as HealthCabin...I've happily ordered from them many times and they are ECF listed/ verified and have a HUGE and loyal following.

I just received a chrome VAMO from health cabin. The quality is just as good as the first VAMO I bought. As for protected batteries - I hear that most will not work, but the Trustfire's I have work in it no problem. Just my 2 c.......

The Panasonic CGR18650CH 18650s work great in the VAMO. They are hybrid/IMRs but who knows how they may described in Singapore. Sticking with the CGR18650CH designation is probably the safest bet rather than relying on descriptions.

Yes you're right. I have a Vamo and am very happy- also got 4 X 2250 and 2 X 3400 Pannys from FasTTech- great prices and fast shipping.
