If I understand it correctly a technical administrator with the only access to the member verification process and with the technical know how to change permissions left without giving a colleage admin access to his/her account or giving someone else the permissions and there’s no head admin that has access to change permissions for individual admins.

So it’s like a maintenance person leaving a building, taking the keys of certain supply and maintenance closets with him and the owner doesn’t have them or know how to give other personnel access to the closets.

No one currently in the classifieds is going to want to buy one of my provaris for example, and I think there would be more activity and in a good way and etc.

So that is my "one dollar" of classifieds thoughts, which is how I did it the paypal way.

I do personally think the site shouldn't advertise the classifieds as open if new people can't join. .I realize it can be a chore and whatever, but if no one is validating new classifieds members they should not be paying a dollar and then getting... Nothing.

If the classies aren't joinable, then maybe deleting posts expressing interest in an item shouldn't be arbitrarily deleted. We simply don't have access to the classies, therefore no recourse!

They are not as active as they use to be, but they are not dead, I bought a kayfun prime a few weeks ago from there and a few days ago bought a squape, still good deals to be had, and wish they would figure it out, if they did, maybe would become more active again.

I'd have been allllll over a sQuape. Or a Provari. Or a Dicodes. Or a Nauti. Or a Piccoloid. Or a Spheroid......you get the idea.

One would think that there is a "head admin" who has the keys to all. If there isn't, perhaps there should be a very select few who do, moving forward.

I've been a moderator/control panel user in vbulletin and other forums way back when. At no time was the whole thing in the hands of one user. There were also ways for other admins to reset priviledges for other admins. Yes, it involved jumping through hoops and contacting the makers of the backend (vbulletin in this case) and having the designers of the backend support their product.

What I don't understand is why they can't just make a new classified forum and put someone else in charge of verification. Its not that difficult to contact the server company and get priveledges changed. Unless its one messed up server.
I didn't pay $1 but I did what was asked of me and now almost a year later I'm missing out on deals and have boxes full of vape stuff I'd love to offer to others. Sigh.

My thoughts are there is a lot of nagging about an issue that ran along pretty smoothly until verification became an issue. In order to protect the masses only one person had access to your info.

From what I can see, verification via PayPal isn't enabled at the moment, so no more dollars can be sent,

well - it took long enough

because folks had an issue with the procedure of being verified (privacy concerns) that it just sort of dropped and sort of, read between the lines, seemed to indicate that it was "tough nuggies" because folks complained

lol - this has to be the best spin on this disaster yet. fact is this person who still shows as a member of admin took over a co-op and failed to deliver. but @Oliver as owner of ecf doesn't seem to be concerned that members of his forum got scammed by somebody in admin and that somebody kept collecting dollars being sent in for verification for months before the link was finally disabled.

I just called and left a message for him to call me.
