I found a video on YouTube about using a baby syringe to flush the carto and then like 45 pumps to dry it. I got a baby syringe at a local drug store for $1.99. Have not tried the method yet, but looked fairly easy and the equipment needed is certainly cheap enough! Also showed to use an oral soft pick to swab the hole in the carto. I googled "how to clean a cartomizer" and that was one of the links. Sorry I don't have the link handy.

I've done this and it works to some degree...but the filling is still damp. It's a good start, kind of like spinning, but still not totally dry.

I was a huge fan of cartos for a long time. After trying a Vivi Nov mini, I'm now a Vision fan. It's a fairly true flavor device that recovers from flavors quickly and is actually easy to fill and top off. You can run water through it, change the head in a few seconds, and let the old head dry for future re-use. Fill it up and you are into new juice. At $9.95 (from GotVapes), it's cheap to own several in different colors.

I'm not a purist in trying new juices. I would add drops of a new juice to a carto and vape until the old juice was used up and the new juice prevailed. I'd also throw away a carto instead of washing it. I never got that new carto flavor from a washed carto, so I'd toss and replace. What the heck ... they only cost about $1.75 each.

I am pleased with the boil method... not bad results at all. Uncleaned is on the left and my oldest (most used) is right next to it and looked way worse.
