Cleaning Evic Control Head? E Liquid leaked into it!

I just bought an evic for a friend who it trying to quit analogs a couple of weeks ago. I also got him the smok UDCT and taught him how to use it. Unfortunately after a couple of weeks using it the carto leaked through the center airhole and somehow also got into the control head of the evic. Its still usable, but lots of juice must have gotten in, because the twist knob doesn't turn smoothly anymore (can hear sounds of ball bearings moving inside) and the knob is always sticky, even after wiping.

Does anyone have any idea or suggestions what to do to clean it out? Thanks in advance!

When I had that problem with my eVic, I dipped a q-tip in vodka, cleaned the dirty area, new q-tip in water, same thing. Then, finally, new DRY q-tip to ensure the affected area gets dried out. See if that works.

i do what jonny does as well. that twist knob issue sounds like a problem though. never had it that bad before. you might have to go through warranty if it gets any worse.
