Cleaning with acetone

You can dilute it if you want, it'll not be as effective. Stainless is pretty resistant to stains. I'd wipe it clean with whatever solution on rag, wipe again with water on rag, and then dry. Unless you REALLY like the smell of vinegar.

Use Napetha,, cleaned 30yrs of smoke & sweat from guitars.
Warhorse Bar guitars. No swirling on delicate laquer finishes..

if you plan on acetone... remove all rubber/plastic parts before cleaning... if the mod has any type of applied finish ( paint etc) try soapy water... acetone is one of the more aggressive " cleaners" around...
