Actually, the eGo and Riva are
not identical (other than size and shape), but they
are compatible. That is, any carto which works on the eGo works on the Riva ... usually better. You see the eGo is 650 mAh 3.2V and the Riva is
750 mAh 3.
7V. That additional 100 mAh is nice, but I especially appreciate that .5 difference in voltage: it can produce a more intense
vaping experience. For example, I find the dual
coils to be disappointing on 3.2V and are much more satisfying on 3.7V (although I prefer even higher voltage for these cartomizers which are
not really 1.5-1.6 ohms.]
[NOTE: Also their switch buttons have a different look and feel (personally, I
slightly prefer the Riva's). And there are other differences between the two, below the surface, in technical attributes that I don't fully understand. One consequence is that the Ego Booster works only on the eGo, not on other fat batts like the Riva. However, that is the
only thing (accessory, carto, atty,
tank, or cone) I know of that
doesn't work on both batteries.]
FYI: I have read the the cone (eGo
or Riva) doesn't fit over the
clear dual coils. No problem with the black or stainless dual coils.
