Has anyone used one of these yet? I would imagine you could use thsi with just about any carto, including a DC.

I have 2 of these, 1 w/reg. carto and 1 w/dual coil....I LOVE THEM!! Easy to fill, easy to change carto out and no leaks what so ever!! Only problem is it takes like a week to get them from Vaporesence. I see Clouds of Vapor now carries them and Vapor-Age is comming out wih a beautifull Stainless Steel one in about a wekek or so. No matter whrere someone chooses to buy one from, all I can say is this is the best type of tank I have ever tried, and I have tried just about every one of them out there.

What do I need???

I exclusvely drip so just don't know as much as I should about cartomizers. One of my newly converted friends doesn't like to drip, gets a bad taste from the filling on a SR carto I gave her, and will NOT use a syringe to fill. She is ready to abandon her eGo unless we can find a solution that only requires her to pop a top, fill, and go all day.

Sooo, I turn to y'all for some good advice on what I should get for her to try. She is a senior with no computer knowledge so I have been doing all of the shopping. I have hardware and juice to trade but just don't know what to ask for.

Thanks for any and all input.

Thanks Prism, checked out the link. The Echo is similar to a GoGo, right? I had one and it was the size of a ball bat and used cartos with filling. The eGo is sufficiently longlasting, I just don't know which carto has no filler, can be top filled without syringe, no leaking, and is newbie super-simple and affordable. Not asking for much, huh? ;)

Don't know if somethin like this may work for your friend, but it will be a tank for an Ego and he is going to make carto tanks too, which are super easy to fill and change out.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...r-forum/194116-introducing-torpedo-tanks.html

From post # 386 -

Torpedo Slim : A Stainless Steel Torpedo Tank in the Ego form factor. At a 1/2 inch diameter this tanks will only hold approximately 2.4ml but it will fit perfectly on an Ego battery, with optional thread cover to complete the smooth look. ETA 2 weeks.

He said this on 07/23/11, so another week maybe?

I think the Ego tanks are going to be less, but I can understand your point. :) I use to only use Ego-T atties and tanks before now, because I didn't like the filler either and hated always topping off. I'd get my T atty's from Good Prophets, he always has them on sale (I think they are only 9.95 right now?), so maybe an option?

Good luck in your search!

The only fillered carto's I have tried that did not have the "medical gauze" taste were the ones from GoodProphets. They are amazing and the flavor is untainted. Very easy to fill (and compared to all the standard/mega/duals I have tried in just about all brands) and they filled much faster. They also have an additional donut type ring inside to reduce "juice mouth" syndrome. Try a E2 or Ce2 carto as well, as the flavor is very very nice (IMHO) and unchanged.

Back to the topic, I made a tankomizer tank using neoprene seals and an arcrylic bottle I had ... used an SR carto from GP which has a higher coil compared to some, so I mounted the tank a little high. The tank is a bit small (2.5 ml) but vapes like an endless carto. so simple and yet works so well! I have put it over a carto cap to see if it will leak by just sitting overnight (I am betting it will, as once a carto is saturated it will leak if there is juice added and the tank is constantly supplying additional juice). I should know in a couple of days...

any input on cutting carto's for tanks or punching holes in them??

I punch holes in mine using a simple sharp nail ( about 1/16") and hammer. It really doesn't take more than a firm couple of taps and it punches right through. Just don't hit too hard and they work great this way in the tanks.

Vapor-Age is also comming out with a punch and jig set that is especially designed for punching cartos. He should have them for sale on his site in the next couple of days...looks like it will work great too.

One last thing :), Good Prophets has the Boge cartos for only 5.99 a pack, which work great in the carto tanks.

Those carto's are the only filler type carto's that I use. They are Excellent for flavor! no gauze taste.

I use 2 most of the time since I vape 100% VG juices, but they are thinned out some. I've used 1 hole too and they have worked, but sometimes not as good. I don't think either one has made my carto last longer tho.

I like 'em slotted rather than punched. I've got a ton of DC cartos, but vape at high voltages.........so I need to get rid of those & get standard resistance ones. The problem is I forget where I bought my last standard resistance 510 cartos.........they are the kind that you punch out of a pack. I thought litecig or value vapor..........but it wasn't either one.
the liquinator started leaking after like the 2nd carto
the j tank is ok, i've run 3 cartos through it.
the cartomater from nhaler is nice/tight, i've run 2 cartos through this one & it's PINK!
I wouldn't try anything else from stormy's vapor cellar if someone PAID me to, bad products & customer service leaves alot to be desired.
