jj2, you are def not a newb so I can take that out of the equation. I have clearomizers and none of mine leaked at all. I just make sure I don't feel near the the ceramic cup. I always stay about a half inch below just in case. I use the XL clearomizers so i'm not losing that much liquid, but if you have the regular size that only hold about 1ML of juice, then I would just fill it 2mm away from the cup. The reason it's leaking is because ejuice is going OVER the cup, and into the coil, then when you take a vape you're sucking the liquid from the coil into your mouth.

When you removed the cap to fill them, did you put the caps back on? There should be 2. One with holes in it, which is removable, then another rubber washer, then the white cap or a drip tip...make sure those are back in place and you won't get any leaking. I can hold mine upside down all day, or on it's side all day and won't get any leaking.

yeah, learned that one the hard way last night. Lost a ton of Hypnotic Mist that way. What ever you do, DON'T DUMP liquid onto the ceramic cup. It will just go straight through. If you have taken them completely apart, then make sure the acrylic is down over the silicon seal with none of the wick in between. Another tip for making sure the cap and rubber washer, use a drip tip to make sure they go down even and you don't get one side higher than the other.

Well just took a good look and the two I used today are cracking so it's not sealed around the atomizer part. I cut off a part of a condom, slipped it over the crack part and it's working fine now.
Guess I go syringe hunting soon.
Anyone using the ones from Royal Smoker?
DO THEY CRACK TOO!!!
Totally NOT a happy camper!!!

There is some speculation that some juices might cause cracking, or at least speed the process of cracking. These would include juices that have cinnamon oils, or citirc acid. For instance, Atomic Cinnacide will crack one within minutes. Some orange based juices seem to do the same. I haven't had any that have cracked, but I have avoided the questionable juices.

I found a couple of mine had the ring (small around the battery connection end) was misplaced around the tip -I took it apart and put the o ring where it was supposed to be - all good.

Be careful taking them apart.

If you got them from Danno - PM him - he is great - has even offered to replace a couple of mine that were DOA.

When I first started using them I had a tendency to overfill so I always blew them out before putting on the caps to make sure they weren't flooded. The only other time I can get a small amount of juice is if my battery is getting low. Since the clearomizer is the first cardomizer I have been able to clean and reuse I have several that have been working for at least 2 months. The only time I have had one crack is when I used it with Cinna-Bomb. I figured it was the oil in the Cinna-Bomb. Never had any leak, I've had the bottom come apart when I was cleaning them but put them back together and they were as good as new.

First off. The liquid is from Poland, but it can be done with any liquid.
Since Jesper shot the video, we have done a lot of research. The aromas used contains essential oils
Essential oil develops esters when mixed with alcohol. As you may know PG and VG are alcohols, and thus esters are developed. Esters can dissolve plastic, and phthalate (used to soften plastic) is a kind of ester.

Even 100% pure anis-seed oil (used for candy making), and on its own it does nothing to the tube. When mixed with PG (no nic) it makes the tube brittle and makes it crack.

Plz feel free to test if you have flavours that contains Essential oils

People are testing this thing on the Danish forum i hope some of you would look into this.

Now that kind of irritates me because the manufacturer had to know about the cracking problem before putting them out!!!

Still dealing with the problem though. I got them apart and was planning on using a syringe as a complete tube replacement because, even if I got part of the old tube, it will eventually just crumble. The 3mls I bought at Tractor Supply are too big. Any one know where I can buy one (or something else) that will fit tight?
