Well after a few weeks of deliberation, reading multiple posts saying " I wish I had just gone from ego to the provari in the first place " and reading everyone's positive reviews, I decided to bite the bullet and ordered a Provari. Black with blue LED, 2 18650's and the extension cap.

What really sealed the deal is the fact that once their next greatest thing comes out the general consensus is that they will upgrade it for you for a nominal fee. I have been rather careful with my vaping equipment, but at the same time I have suffered the fate of a broken ego twist, and how much it sucks to be without your e cig. I really hope they bring a set it and forget it VW style chip in the future, but I can get used to using a few charts to figure out how to get the best wattage out of it for the time being.

Congrats, just a heads up on a trick some use with VV. Take the resistance of you topper and add 2 to that for your starting voltage, adjust from there to your taste. So, a 2.4 ohm topper would equal a 4.4 volt starting point.

ProVape has manuals on their website that you can download, good idea to check it out. Instruction Manuals

Thanks for the voltage tip, I appreciate it. That will help fine tuning for sure. Little iffy about getting used to the menu, but then again, I can operate a computer and a smart phone, so I assume I can adapt to a single button :)

You'll master the menu in no time, and the instruction manual should help. My three most used devices are all one button, the sigelei Zmaxes and the ProVari. Different menus, but really pretty simple once you get used to them.

H2o Front, glad I didn't have a mouthful of coffee when I read your post below. Thanks for the chuckle.

Congratulations on your new purchase! Be sure to pick up your new complementary ProVari Ensemble pictured below.

Eh, ya won't need charts.
Take a puff, "turn it up" a little, take another puff - tastes good? Leave it.

Very soon you will snicker at the idea a chart is necessary. :)

Yep. Start low, work your way up until it tastes right. If you start too high (for your taste) you won't be able to fix the taste of burned wick by turning the voltage down.

I don't think I've ever vaped anything at 4.4 volts. Even with a 2.4 oHm coil things start tasting crispy when I push it up to 4.3 v.
