Ooo, these are great with Terminator/Oddy clones. Recessed 510 + Floating pin = virtually no gap!

i got the silver one... actually, i got two. the first one came with stripped 510 connector. the second one (i forgot i ordered one already-it happens to me a lot on that site!) seems okay so far, but the construction is kinda flimsy. from what i hear, the all brass (gold colored) one is better constructed.

Anyone know how to get the floating pin out? I am wanting to sand it down a bit as it seems way to long for my rbas. To get it snugged up enough it pushes the post up on both my aga and dud.

Leave the battery body loose, install the rba, then tighten the mod. Self adjusting that way.

Yes my buddy got the aluminum one and it is indeed JUNK. But my Brass version on the other hand.....it's AWESOME! I tore the mod completely down and got to playing with it and i'm impressed! The bottom button switch is completely adjustable. I like the way it locks as well. And the thing is HEAVY! Feels really really good in the hand! Also the 510 connection is adjustable. With a RSST @ .5 ohm this thing hits HARD! I HIGHLY recommend the Brass version and will likely shoot a vid on it.

Is the firing spring really stiff and can you easliy swap in a new spring?

Heavyrocker sir, The spring is not too stiff and easily able to be swapped out. Put a little shorter one in mine. It still stands without being locked and won't accidentally fire.

I received the all brass version today and I'm very impressed. It's an $18 mech but to me nothing feels cheap about it. It's heavy and has a very solid feel. The floating pin is new for me and I wish all my mechs had that. The button has a comfortable resistance and the amount of play is adjustable, a pleasant surprise. Hit's hard, very little voltage loss, and just looks and feels awesome in the 18650 mode I've been using it in.

Yes but to get the tubes tight enough that it's not rocking all over the place it pushes up the positive posts. Actually hard shorted my battery earlier cuz it went to far up.

great vid man, but gotta disagree with ya twistedchild. the aluminum 2 tone i got is ridiculous. i love it. AGI on top with a parallel 3/2 wrap of 28ga kanthal on a ss rope wick - amazing. it's got the same brass contacts which, i would imagine, determines a majority of the performance. i guess the brass body would be even better of a conductor, but i got some noalox to help that out on the threads. two tone is definitely light-weight and top heavy with a genesis on it, more like a featherweight compared to the brass heavyweight. by far the lightest of the 4 mechs i have currently, but it's ok, i like a variety in feel as well as look. my sigelei 19 is heavy as hell comparatively. that being said, i would have liked to get a brass version of the sentinel as well to compare, but i have a mod coming in soon that is all brass, the tvs diablo clone. i think my arsenal only has room for one all brass mod (probably because i have no brass/copper/brown attys to go with it), so it worked out great cus the diablo clone is offered only in that material.

Don't get me wrong.....I know the performance is on par because my bud has that version. I'm just saying it feels REALLY Cheap and light. lol Like i might accidentally crush it by gripping it too tight.....lol That's all i'm saying.

Aluminum is a better conductor than Brass. Let me repeat that. Aluminum is a better conductor than brass, and both are much better than stainless steel, the last one on the list below.

Electrical conductivity (10.E6 Siemens/m)

Silver 62,1
copper 58,5
Gold 44,2
Aluminium 36,9
Molybden 18,7
Zinc 16,6
Lithium 10,8
Tungsten 8,9
Brass 15,9
Nickel 14,3
Iron 10,1
Palladium 9,5
Platinium 9,3
Tin 8,7
Bronze 7,4
Carbon steel5,9
Lead 4,7
Titanium 2,4
St.Steel 1,32

twisted child, you are absolutely right. i'm starting to think it'd be best to keep mine for home use, and take the sturdier brass diablo clone out and about when it gets here. after a night of using it, i'm REALLY noticing how light it is. at first it was a novelty, as every other mod i have feels 2x as heavy, but now it seems fragile, feels like it'd dent if it hit and edge of a table or something. and i definitely am worried about the life of the threads on this aluminum version. gonna put some noalox on it and see if that can help the threading and conductivity. gonna be careful with the 510 connection and attys too. i'll be much rougher with the diablo. damn thing has been stuck in hong kong for over a week on my usps tracker! so frustrating...

but ure saying that the actually vape is not noticably different between the two versions in your experience?

awesome, its great when a chart comes out that makes me feel better about a buy just when i was in the midst of regretting not getting the brass one, solely for conductivity, weight is not nearly as big a deal... though this thing is a feather
