I couldn't bring myself to put a dremmel or a file to a 100+ piece of vape gear.
27 pages (and counting for sure) with a topic that is only creating a mess !!!!
I always thought that the point of vaping was to keep of the analogs, maybe i'm getting old???
Ok, i have both originals and clones and YES i use them all. If i find it worth the money i wil buy authentic but if needed i will buy a clone, simple.
Talking about labour wages, patents, developments etc. etc...... People we are vapers, we made it getting of the analogs with clones or authentics, we are all winners !!
Most of the stuff we use nowadays is made in China, copied from some other that made it first... talking about household items NOT vaping stuff... We all pay top money for chinese stuff.
There is a market for all, respect that....
Now i know that there are people that can understand my point and others that are going to ignore this but just for fun: How many items you have that aren't made in China???? How many branded items are made in China and you still pay high prices for them?? You think that they are getting paid top wages just to make items for brand A or B??? If you doubt me take a look at Apple...... Are those clones... YES just branded with the logo... And i could go on and on but what's the point... As long there is a demand for cheap stuff there will always be clones, vaping stuff or not !!!

Well, insurance companies aren't run any more sensibly than some of the people hereOr maybe they are run by the same people
Some people need drama. Some need to put others down to feel better about themselves. Some need to show off. This forum pretty much is the same as the world in general.
I guess the simple fact is that the older and sicker I get, the more I don't like people.
Maybe reading about what interests you, or helping other vapers is boring to some.
I actually own very few things made in PRC. Pretty much just iProducts and certain electronics. Oddly, none of them are counterfeits. I have Apple iPhones, not Tobecco iPhones. Maybe I should buy a fake iWatch from chinabuye. The real one is expensive and I deserve to have one at a fraction of the price...
Bet you have more PRC stuff then you think.
To steal your analogy, and apply for line of reasoning to it..... There should be no cheap smartphones, we should all be happy paying out the nose for an iPhone or Samsung, and if you can't afford one, you should just be happy with an old brick phone, cause you can make calls on it after all.
Nobody is answering my question about whether generic/rebranded cereal, plastic wrap or pharmeceuticals are ok.
Verizon gave me my Samsung free. I didn't realize they were expensive phones ? You could have the previous model iphone free, too.

I have another question for folks here. Are you still upset if its a clone (no logos/writing) or is it just the counterfits (fake logo, etc).
And for those who have bought clones/counterfeits, would you still buy them if they had no logo? I sure would, and wish I always could. When I suggested things like the cutout design on a Stingray X could be changed to another nice looking design for a clone, a friend told me no one would buy them, but I don't think that's true.
Are the examples you gave sold under the same name, packaging and appearance of the original? Last I checked, generics can be sold as 'compares to' or equivalent to' items, but not as exact copies...
If you watch P. Busardo's last segment on his China visit, he asks the 'clone' sweat shop boss the same question. People want the name, packaging, logos, design...
Sort of. Fruity Loops instead of Fruit Loops. Things like paper products are darn close. Generic pharmaceuticals say, "Compare to _______".
So would you be ok then with non logoed clones or if they said "Tobeco" or whoever?
But, do they? Or do the cloners just think we do? I don't. I've never once tried to pretend anything I have isn't what it really is. People who do have issues.

Roxynoodle, I see things diff than you in this area but I think you're great and a helpful member of the forum. Do what makes you happy, my opinion is mine, and I hope I have not offended you or anyone.
I know what they told Busardo. I suspect though, its more the Chinese culture who wants to walk around with fake Nikes, fake attys, and whatever. They may have projected that onto the rest of the world, thinking we all do. I'm just exploring what ECF members think about that. I'm a curious person. I often ask questions like this, and yes, sometimes stir the pot a bit to see what's in the soup.
Sometimes the questions I ask aren't necessarily my views either as I'm trying to explore others' views.
I will add that one thing I like that the Chinese do is offer more colors. I wonder how many people bought, say a k 4 since they seem to be the hot topic, because it was black? Would Svoemesto have gotten some of the clone sales if they also had black ones? Maybe not, but I think there's at least a possibility. I just got an EHPro Mini Buddha, and a day later I found out black ones will be available next week. I would rather have had a black one.
