I was wondering if anyone can tell me why my istick TC-40 keeps sending the message Temperature protected?
I I am using the TC tank that came with it and it's a little small to see it while I am vaping, so I don't know if it's always done it or not......
Liblue I can't answer your question as I don't have a TC device yet, my guess though would be that is what mode you have it in instead of saying the watts or voltage.
I've been eying the iPV D2 but so far my budget hasn't allowed it. I'm going to have to do something soon though as I've been using my back up kbox for awhile now. If it dies I'll still have my old mechanical but I haven't used it for a long time.
I don't have the istick 40 in my hand yet (hopefully it's waiting at the PO) but my evic will show protection a bit after hitting the fire button - I think that's when it reaches the set temp.
Haven't really done any reading on TC just playing with it.
After posting here yesterday, I tried my GF's eVic with a nickel prebuilt coil. Not sure why, but I haven't been able to get that device to stay in TC mod...
I am using the TC tank that came with it and the coil that was in the tank.........there is an extra coil I was thinking I might change it out.....it reads .12 now...it was .14............there is no counting on the screen like when I use the VW(it counts seconds fired).....
I never thought I would be asking about it because I didn't think I would ever be using it...but since I have it I thought I would give it a try.....I probably won't be using it much....it uses too much juice and not the flavor I like....
Got a call this that the wife's oldest brother passed this morning. He had been out with his boat and snorkeling or whatever. Don't know yet if it was medical or and accident or anything else. Wife headed up there - she said for me not go up today. Probably won't know much more for another day or two.
With all the other things I have going on right now and over the next few months I was already dealing with too much. Lots of jumbled thoughts about everything.
