W day down and two surprising good things. First, remember the boss who fired me for the meeting, one of the apprentices under me texted today and said he missed me and wanted to get back together. If he does not have to work to late we will tonight.

Second we get an inspection and pass, so time to fill the ditch. The brick layers had put a tall stack in our way we had to navigate around and low and behold a tiny baby rabbit. I go and pick it up with gloved hands, it does not squirm, run, jump or anything and let's me take it about 40 feet away to a safer spot. I go back later in the afternoon and it is still there and lets me pet it's ears and head.

And a catchy tune on the radio around here....

I'll spend the majority of my day taking my mother to her doctor's appointment. That's because it is at 2:30 pm--but in the opposite directions of rush hour traffic. I expect I won't be home until 6 pm or later.

Fortunately, I don't have to leave until about 11 am....

Somewhere running around in the field, there are about eight large rabbits I see running each day depending on the activity. There is a bicyclist who apparently dog sits for a lot of people, five varied size dogs follow him and the biggest each day gives chase and thinks he has a chance. The rabbit leaves him in the dust each day and the dog goes for a bit and tries every day. It is kind of funny to watch.

Got with the friend last night and we caught up over a few games of pool and one thing I suspected was verified. So the ex co-worker whose wife was my editor, has been coming to ECF to read the story without ever posting, so PM is the right answer.
