Spent all afternoon on taxes. Got the fed and state done, filed and paid. Still need to check into what needs to be done for local (have to make some calls on M). Never had to pay state or local before - active duty and being overseas kept that away. Got hammered for big bucks this year.

So I went to zombie world yesterday to get some new clothes and groceries. I hear this sound behind me and turn, there is a black male about two feet higher than me singing. I said to him "Keep singing." He did so and I tried to do harmony with him with humming, the chords later he stuck out his hand and said have a blessed day. If you come to my house, you are going to eat, and if you come be ready to sing, or play a game, or play an instrument. That is how I roll, you are going to eat if you come here.....

Cold weather has me dragging again. Did manage to take care of a couple things and got some chili in the crock pot that's almost done.

Back from soccer. The boys team played well--except for the aim on goal. The game ended in a 1-1 tie, but would have been different had a number of our shots been on-target. The girls were another matter: we had a number of girls give up on pursuing the ball or challenging the other team. My daughter was in tears after the first half, since she played goalie and let 5 shots go by her--but she also stopped a lot of shots. In the second half, when she came out of goal and played some defense and some mid-, the number of shots by the other team dropped dramatically. We will have our work cut out for us at practice next week...
