Afternoon Tipsters, Gorgeous day down under, spring has sprung and the blossoms are out.
Cyclin love the new car, there is nothing like the smell of a new car. I am sure you will have lots of family adventures to remember in that beauty.
On another subject, I ordered some juice from Mrs. T,s on 1st of April and it's still coming. The orders seem to be taking longer and longer to be shipped. Mine has been awaiting shipment for weeks.

Good Morning!

I am anxiously awaiting more pictures! Sooner, that's odd that your package didn't arrive yet! I would have thought you would be one of the first to get them in...hopefully today is the day! Vintage, I'm glad that spring has sprung in your neck of the woods. I too am waiting on an order from Mrs. T...hope everything is OK on her end! It sounds like there are some more obsidian TrippyTips in order, so I will be torching it up today, but of course I'll check back in a little bit in search of some pictures :D

Good Afternoon Trippy Nation,
Been a busy weekend and expecting a busy week (4 days anyway). I am taking Friday off to head for Terre Haute and an ISU Tailgating gathering of old friends, classmates and fraternity bothers. I got notice that my DarkStar mod is on it's way so I can see the need of a few more Trippies to complement the Russian. However I need another of Cyclin's half-round stands to complement my first half-round that has been full for some time. I have Trippies installed on mods I'm not using and a few set off in one of my vape-kit bins. Need more TRIPPY storage!! The Mrs. is still planning a major mail-woman stalk while she waits for the Bert's package to arrive. I'll have to post a video if his efforts are successful.

Been working on a semi-feral, stray cat for the past 2-3 months who arrives like clockwork after 7pm every evening. We built a FeralVilla and added an outdoor heating pad but of course he won't use that so the Mrs. had been letting him in our screen porch. He eats, cuddles, eats some more, cuddles some more and is all about the Mrs.. After she feeds him to the point of bursting he then crashes on the couch with sporadic visits by the Mrs. until the sun comes up. Saturday night I moved the heating pad out of the villa onto a swivel chair beside the couch and her curled up seeming happy even though we hit 36°F with a pretty good frost. The pad is only a 40 watt draw when he's actually laying on it and rises to no higher than 102°F but it idles back when there is no weight on it to about 10W.

Last night we switched tack and got him into the garage through a hilarious cat-wrangling operation involving chicken breast meat and a series of door blocking, path-redirecting gyrations to get him to come through our laundry room (door off back-deck beside porch) into the garage. He made 3-4 laps into the garage, out under the garage door and around the house trying to get us to let him back into the screened porch. Poor guy but the weather is changing and he needs to be out of the wind minimally. We're not sure if he heads for a barn or den somewhere during the day but he's only missed 2 nights in the past 3 months and both involved heavy rain fall. The Mrs. seems to be a magnet for stray animals needing help. Unfortunately, the 3-legged stray we were working on last summer lost a fight with a car before we could get her in full-time. I keep saying we have 3 cats because we don't want 4 but the Mrs. will not let any animal suffer. She's nursed stunned humming birds back to health and can hold them in her hand.

Brew's Cathouse wasn't the success I was hoping for  but here's the setup I stole in case anyone else has a need:
Interior heated upstairs bedroom with wind-baffled, ground-level entrance beneath
HeatingPad.jpg
Side view of 1 of 2 doors and the wiring setup - It's shingled and has 3/4" reflective insulation throughout the upper-section walls, floor and roof.

I hope you all are doing well and look forward to the next sale night. Colder weather means 2 things for me. No more grass to cut and bring on the Grand Marnier!!

Hi misplacedsooner, That is the operation Ralf had 5 weeks ago, he is doing fine now and back to work fulltime. He still gets a little out of breath but that's all. Hope your Father recovers soon.

Good Afternoon Trippy Nation,
Been busy today working on an overclock project at work! They want me to build a workstation-class machine with a top-of-the-line i7 processor running at about 4.7GHz that will be used to find the limits of our software. The servers we typically use clock no higher than 3.5GHz so this will push the limits of a number of our services beyond any previous thresholds. I spec'd out a water-cooled configuration with a 6-core/12-thread CPU and 32GB of FAST DDR3 memory. I used to build these kinds of systems for a hobby back in the early years of my career and it's a lot of fun to revisit this on somebody else's dime. The young guys are all Ooh's and Aah's waiting to hear how it all benchmarks but at the moment I'm still working through to an ideal setup.
The Big News
Well the mail-lady is now recovering in a semi-private room in nearby Riverview Hospital as it took her forever to finally bring Bert's glorious creations to our mailbox. Thankfully she should make a complete recovery and Mrs. Brew is one happy camper. I am trying to get her to stop long enough to take a video of her prize possession but have not had enough time to do so yet. Finally saw the first bit of sunshine today so hopefully I can get something posted. I also received a couple of Trippy creations I must assumed that Bert salvaged from my torchy escapades. Either way, Bert has done it again. Bert there be spinnin' here in the Brew household and it didn't require my HELP!!!! As a matter of fact she can manage a more balanced spin than I can...Kind of like 007 in Gold Finger missing his shot on a rifle made for a 3-fingered man. This top wasn't made for me  Well more later and I hope all are having a great hump day. Brew

p.s. - I'm also rocking my Dark Star mod and have to say this is going to become an evening staple. Now I just need to get Wharf to do another in a GITD carbon fiber. :D

Sounds like a sweet system! The geek in me hopes it is running some sort of FOSS, although I know it's unlikely.

I'm glad to hear the Mrs. Brew has already mastered the Trippy Top Twist, and I look forward to pictures (or it didn't happen, you know) ;)

GITD Carbon Fiber Darkstar you say?!? Where do I sign up? Take my money Wharf!

Mike, any update on your dad? Coralie on Ralph? Nevermind, I just read your post^^^ Glad he's doing well!

I really need to take some pictures of my new tips. I just wanna say I am loving the new SS bases, base breaks have shelved many of my tips over the last couple years. I actually have a small cup of pieces to send back to Bert one day lol And this super-thick tube shaped glass is just phenomenal, it makes me happy to see how Trippies have continued to evolve over the years. Bert is turly a master of his craft :)

The new car has been fun though, I went up to SLO yesterday and again today for work stuff, which is a nice length drive. I shoulda been a driver, you get to eat chunks of your work day just jammin' and vapin'.
