This from a Buddy in another thread ~

So I had a project in the shop that kept me on the work bench for dang near a week...Finished and cleaning the bench yesterday when the sheet hit the fan...Reached for my Pro V Mini with the all glass Plasma tank...Knocked it over into my Stick 50 with the Lemo 2...Both went down and the Pro went over the edge 40 inches too the concrete....Not a scratch....later I switched too the Stick and got all air and plenty of it....busted tank from the Plasma head but....no spare in that box either...Now I got a KSM and a L2 down.....pulled out the Lemo Drop...Not sure the KSM or L2 will see action here again...

I think Bert puts Moondust in the Plasma tank for extra toughness ;)

Hi Trippy Tip enthusiasts! I just want to say hello and introduce myself since I have recently become a Trippy Tip convert--so naturally I'm completely obsessed with them now!

I'm located just outside of Dallas, but grew up in Kansas--so you'll never hear things like 'y'all' or 'coke' used to refer to any and all brands/flavors of carbonated beverages come out of my mouth--or fingers, considering this is a forum)
For example, a typical ordering conversation goes as follows:
Customer: "May I get a coke, please?"
Server: "What kind, hon?"
Customer: "Dr. Pepper, thanks!"
....yeah...lol. I say 'you guys' and 'pop'.

Anyway, I attempted to search here, but anything applicable was from like 2012 or so. So I apologize for repeating what I'm sure has been asked more than 5 million times here...

But I've recently acquired two of the most beautiful, wonderful and spectacular Trippy Tips I've ever seen, and I'm thoroughly in lurve with them. Not only are they aesthetically pleasing, but they enhance my entire vaping experience due to the way they feel good, bring out new dimensions in flavors and make my vapor even better! If only they'd walk my dogs, make me dinner and clean the house, we'd be SET!

I tend to run anywhere from 4-7 rigs at the same time (I'm a Gemini--my bday is actually tomorrow, June 17th!--so I require several different flavors/setups to keep me interested and away from the stinking analogs that I FINALLY SUCCESSFULLY quit over a month ago, yay!!) I had been cheating and still smoking sometimes, but I finally broke free. Still crave them sometimes, but I'm doing much better--switching to full lung vape, going sub-ohm (finally found my 'sweet spot' at a .3 coil), and getting new toys like my SX Mini has made all the difference. I was so resistant to all these things for years, so the fact that giving in and changing it up is what finally put me over the hump is not lost on me at all. Takeaway lesson for/ from me: no matter how long you've smoked or how heavy a smoker you've been, I firmly believe that ecigs CAN help you quit--sometimes you just have to play around with the equipment/liquids, etc. you're using. So drop all your preconceived notions about what 'you won't EVER like' and be open to new things--don't waste years being a close-minded ..... like I was, for sure!

Anyway, I'll get off my soapbox...the reasons I decided to post are threefold:
1. After reading through countless pages of this group's posts, I think this seems like an awesome crew I'd like to know better
2. I've found some I really like, but they're listed as Trippy Tips XL--what exactly does this mean? I mean I'd obviously assume they're big...but HOW big? One of mine is small, but one is a taper (I think) with a round bulb that narrows at the top. It's a little more than a quarter's width high (above the silver band, not including it) and if you place a nickel right above it and look down, it's about the same width as the nickel at the glass' most bulbous part. So it's definitely not small. (I really hope my descriptions made sense in describing the size). So can anyone relate what I've said about mine to an XL, please? Oh, and some of the best-looking ones I found don't have the silver band around the bottom--would this be ok?
2. I'm really wanting to get at least 2-3 more Trippy Tips, but I'm having a heck of a time finding any online, boo! I got my first day two at my fave local Vape shop, but I don't care for the selection they have remaining. I'm homebound 99.9% of the time due to a freak brain injury that caused me to lose ability to walk, almost all coordination, etc--but my brain works, so I'm happy! The only reason I shared that is only to explain why I'm dependent upon the Internet for the additional TT purchases I want to make.

Therefore, if you would be so kind as to direct me to any sites/shops that sell these lovely Trippy Tips online, I'd be extremely grateful!! I've been to the official TT site, but their inventory is quite low currently and nothing is turning me on.

And of course, any sales and/or coupon codes would be SO bonus!

Thank you in advance for your help and I hope to be able to share pics with you very soon!

Hi JBerryJ! Welcome! We are working on a sale right now for TrippyTips' official site, but in the mean time check out the link in the footer at TrippyTips.com marked 'Additional Vendors' for some online browsing.

Hi Bert!, and thanks so much for the welcome! :) I obviously completely missed the link at the bottom of the page, so thank you very much for pointing out my error. I'm going to head over and check it out for sure.:D That's also fantastic news about the sale, though I must admit I'm a bit scared--I've heard they're QUITE competitive and often bear a strong resemblance to a feeding frenzy!:p

The advice I was given was to quickly pick one tip and try to purchase that one before it is snapped up...then you can go back and try to get additional tips, but it is still best to keep purchasing one at a time because the demand is always so high. Is this still good advice? The person also said you should create an account on the site prior to any sales so you don't get stuck filling out all that information when you're trying to check out, but I'm unsure if this is still the case. I couldn't find anywhere to create an account (although it is ENTIRELY possible that I missed that, too:(). I of course already have a PayPal account, but if there indeed IS another account I need to set up, could someone please be kind enough to enlighten me?:) I just want to make sure I'm fully prepared for the sale.:)

FYI, Bert--Kenny and Ed from Mod Squad Vape Shop in Lewisville, TX, are the ones I got my current Trippy Tips from. Apparently they were at a big vape festival where you were exhibiting and they have this HUGE drip tip on display that you crafted at the festival. I believe it is one of the, if not the largest functioning drip tip in existence? I'm sure you do tons of exhibits, but this particular glass is kind of yellowish/whitish/creamish in color and is just phenomenal to look at. You also signed it and, needless to say, they're extremely proud of it!:) They're really great guys.

Unfortunately, they wouldn't let me take the prize drip tip home:(--I tried!:p But I of course found my two regular-size pretties, so they successfully converted me into a definite Trippy Tips disciple!

Thank you again for the warm welcome and the other info, Bert!:D I'll definitely be at your upcoming sale with bells on!:)

Incidentally, what is the best way to learn about the exact date and time for your sales, Bert? Do you post here, or is there a Facebook, Twitter or something else I should follow?

Go to trippytips dot com and sign up for the newsletter! Watch this thread like a hawk or eagle..... I think I had a tip (traded it :( it also glowed in the dark) that stood close to 2in. 100_2279.jpg the one on the far right.

JB, welcome to the madhouse darlin'! And yes, I was born and bred in the deep South (GA) so expect me to say y'all and "bless her heart". ;) Gratz on getting over the hump and letting go of the cancer-sticks. I just celebrated my 3 year anniversary and have no regrets. I'm also one of those who has to have multiple rigs going at once (I've narrowed it from 7 to 4 atm, lol). I don't know if you've already read up on it, but some warnings (nothing really bad, promise): first, there will be days when none of your juices (or much of anything else) will taste right. This is your taste buds going through a re-boot (see Brew, I know some tech talk ). All you can really do is drink lots of water and vape juice you really don't like, lol. Also, depending on how much you smoked, expect to be coughing up crud for a while. This is your lungs sorting themselves out. Finally, you'll continue to have cravings from time to time (I still do occasionally, especially when I hang around my sis and bro-in-law, both smokers). I have some juice with a slightly higher nic level for those times. I thrown them either in my Magma (single-coil), or my CLT (dual-coil) and it tends to work.
A final piece of advice: Bert should have a banner at the top of trippy-tips.com: "Abandon hope all who enter here". These things are addictive! :D In the three + years I've been vaping, I've amassed over 100 of them, and I still wait with baited breath for the next sale. While yes, you can buy them from vendors and off of the classies (I've done both) nothing matches the excitement and drama of a sale! So yes, register with the site, sign up for the newsletter, get your paypal links ready to go and enjoy. Somewhere there used to be a guide to prepping for a sale. Maybe one of you other tripsters still have the link.

Morning all. TGIF!
I got my latest Zamplebox in yesterday. I'm really digging this program: for $25 you get 6 15ml bottles of juice. You never know what you're going to get; it's like those Valentine boxes of chocolates you used to get (my sister would stick her finger in each one to find the ones she liked best, lol). It's really good for pushing your boundaries. Case in point: one of the juices I got this month is Green Fairy from Gypsy Juice. It's described as "a blend of absinthe, kiwi and spices". Quite frankly I was afraid to try it, but it turned out to be my favorite of this batch of juices.

Morning all. Hope y'all are having a great Father's Day weekend!
I need y'all to talk me down! VaporShark's having a 15% off this weekend. So what's the problem? They've got the Vapor Flask DNA 40 Squonk edition! I need another mod like I need a hole in the head. Plus, I don't have a BF RDA for it, so that'd be another expense. But it'd be an awesome birthday present for myself. But I don't need it; I have my REO grand already. But it's awesome looking! Argh!!!!!

You have a VV Reo Grande I'm assuming? It was great in its day but, IMO, can't compare to a DNA40 squonker.

The VF SQUONKER was a pain to fill and squonk. I love the regular VF. But a squonker, IMO, should be designed from the ground up and not have a non-squonk device retofitted. It just didn't translate well.

I love my REO, but I need to get it serviced, it's not firing right atm. But I can see how attractive a DNA 40 squonker would be: no dry hits.
Well that's not good news. When they stop firing 80% of the time the chip is gone. my first one went the same way and after being sent back Rob found it was toast. have one more that I don't use often and I'm keeping it that way until someone decides they need it worse than I do. sorry for your loss[emoji20]
