Thanks, De :) They are a small, small series of super tips we have made for DFW Vapors. I'm very proud to have worked with Bert on another, amazing tip they have. Jacqueline McKinny made another one as well.

This guy feature's James Yaun's non-dichro, three marbles from .65 to .9 of an inch and a one of a kind art glass of James' glass laminated with opal powder. Very special piece. Three inches tall. It came with a certificate of authenticity from my series as well. One of the my funnest works of last year, definitely.

I'd love to see it up close/in person. So many changing details in the marbles depending on the angle. I love that about marbles.
3 inches tall sounds so huge for a Trippy but man how cool to have so much gorgeous detailed art in one small piece.

Yea, the piece's function is almost exceeded by its ascetics which is always a pitfall in my opinion for a true artisan. It is key to honor function and purpose above all. It was great to have the extra room on this piece to add a miniature time capsule of my current works combined into one piece :)

Hi all, De, Bert, Jim, everyone.

Been working full 40 hr weeks, and it makes for not a lot of time, and I be tired. LOL
I end up trying to hit the hay by 9pm, to get up at 5am, but that doesn't always happen. :unsure:

Matter of fact, I am sinking fast, so will stop in tomorrow before/during the game.

And Bert? Let the smack-talkin' begin! LOL

Night all.

Good Wee hours morning Trippykin!

Missed the sale, missed you guys, and missed the closing of the big Trippy Thread :(

Missed Freddy too! {{{{Mega hugs to our mega Trippy artisan}}}}

BERT! You were not kidding, there were wonderful Trippy surprises in this sale -- so sorry I missed it! That green peanut (?) that Deemer scored is killer! As were many others -- all my favs were gone! :cry: Felt like back in the day on the now old Trippy Thread to me! :p

Speaking of the now OLD Trippy thread - a toast! To the old Trippy Thread - where we beheld so much Trippy Beauty, where Trippy artists show their Trippiness in all their splendor and became the TrippyTips Dream Team, where we ooooo'ed and ahhhh'ed at each new unveiling of these special glass works, where we came for the Trippy scores and stayed for the great company and fun of showing and sharing our Trippy collections, our highs when getting our first picks and our lows that rivaled the Angry German kid when we were skunked by that cart thief Pepe La Pew! :laugh: We made merry and we shared our lives with each other too. We became friends, or as I like to say, "Trippykin." :D All because two wonderful guys decided to share their art with us! To Bert, To Freddy, to all the artists who have contributed their talents to TrippyTips, and to the Trippykin - one of the best groups of people on ECF :toast:

We've been busy tweaking our new TV set - My sweetheart has always been excellent at hooking up the TV to the cable box and DVD player and Receiver and speakers and goodness knows what else he has in there... but he got a new DVD player and the audio isn't working when a 3D disc is in the player :facepalm: That was the whole reason for this new DVD player! :?: Those 3D Dvds will have to wait till this gets sorted out! :closedeyes: But thanks to our new "Smart" TV, I can access Netflix and still get my 3D on! :D :thumbs:

I don't want to hear the word "Donut" in my house for a long time DevD :laugh:-- Hubby brought home two dozen fresh Krispy Kreme donuts and they're just evil deliciousness! I'm hopped up on a sugar high right now! :lol:

Congratz to all who scored from the bevy of beautiful Trippies tonght :toast: So sorry I missed it!
