Morning all. Hope everyone's recovered from last night!
Gratz, Blu. Seattle kicked ...!
Well, my chili and brownies were a hit. One of my buddies works for a local brewery (Abita) and he gets a free case of beer a week, so needless to say, a good time was had by all.

Morning everyone! Recovered and looking forward to another day.
Well Reidus.....where's my brownies? My mailbox is empty. LOL.
Glad ya had a good time.

Good evening Trippy Peeps,
Well Monday is over, my work out is complete and it's time to head home....whew! I hope everyone got through the post-super bowl doldrums and are headed into your week without too many issues. It's great seeing everybody checking in even some that haven't been around in a while. I've got 2 or 3 converts here at work who can't keep their eyes off my Trippies and I've told them how to get some for themselves. I may have to curb my work discussions if they get to be regulars :D. Well I'm headed for the house to await the latest forecast. We're expecting 5"-10" of snow to start coming in after 1pm tomorrow and my lovely wife and Mom are headed out to the airport hotel to get Mom on a flight to see my lil sis in CA. This will be a 3 week visit and I think my wife is going to de-ice the plane herself to see it goes off without a hitch. I may have to drive over to the airport to drag her and her CR-V home behind my truck. Winter has definitely been hard on us this year. Thankfully we won't be having the sub-zero temps to go with it. This ought to be a fun drive into work on Wednesday morning. Half-way to the airport, winch and tow strap at the ready and poised to rescue the Mrs. Brew

*peeks head in*

Just wanted to say that someone at a B&M recognized my Trippy Tip in the wild and asked if that's what it was. :)

Then he related the sad tale of getting one and breaking it only 2 days later! /cry

Still, that was cool!

Cool! Can you relay which store it was in a PM? I'd love to add a pleasant resolution to his woeful tale!

No snow forcasted here till possibly saturday night. Forcasted high temps of 28 today and 23 for wednesday & thursday, then slowly making its way to 32 for a high on sunday.
I just wanna stay home this week in a pile of blankets, too cold to go to work lol.

i believe its going to be snowing soon. we may get a good amount here, amber and renee about 40 miles to the northwest may get more even. hoping for no school tomorrow. still working by myself but i think we have a guy hired but being held up by board paperwork.

Its still coming down here. I don't think we will really get all that much, but with no road crews it still makes getting around interesting. School was canceled, but work was not. Damn I wish I could get a snow day....

Good Morning Trippyville and to the Greater Trippy Nation,
Still cloudy and cold here but no snow yet. Looks like the airport will end up with 7"-9" by 9AM tomorrow and we will have 10" up at the house. I expect to be there or at work which is about 20 minutes from the airport on a clear day. My office is about 45 to 50 minutes from home. The snow is supposed to be coming in at an inch an hour or more from 8pm - 4am so tonight is also going to get really dicey. I have 400lbs of softener salt in the back of the truck and a full tank of gas so I'm setup for some serious snow-tracking. Now I just hope it's too cold for the ice to start as the fear is we may get a 1/4" of icing before the snow kicks off. My 16 year-old Toyota has air-lockers front and rear and 27" of clearance at the bumpers but her age gives me a bit of concern when I'm head out into no-mans land. To boldly go where no tow-trucks can get to your .......:D

I wish I had a group of fellow youngsters like the Trippy group from Vegas to go out with me bumper-sliding(Skitchin') tomorrow as everybody I know seems scared to death to have any fun. The wife would go for it but you need a whole group to not get burned out on the driving rotation. Oh well, I guess I just need to go by the sledding hills in the park to find some like-hearted high school kids... Glass half-full! Brew
