I got my tips today.
They are absolutely beautiful.

I will take pictures in a day or two.

These are my very 1st and I can tell you I will be going broke now in the near future :)
I am going to be so addicted, hehehe :)

I need to write Bert soon about seeing if they can do the dolphin tip again.
I would be in heaven!

Great work guys, absolutely gorgeous!

I collect dolphins and hummingbirds.

Uh-oh, we might have created a monster here ............ (the lazy susan tiered design I have) if the latter is the case

Oh I need a lazy susan tiered design one with lots of holes. My trippy stand (1/2 circle) has already overflowed to the point that I just lay trippys all over it now, lol. Think I need a gallon pickle jar or something of the sorts.

Very nice set of TrippyTips showed up today in my mailbox. Nasty weather and work kept me away from photos :(. Love the GG/Bert tip I picked up-Have to wait for the sun to shine in order to see all it has to offer, such a stunning tip!

I need a trippy like that long one you have on the trippy pic page.

I'm sure somebody can point you in the direction of the guy who made the most recent ones (the lazy susan tiered design I have) if the latter is the case

This is a needed design. Most tip displays do not work for trippytips :(. They only work if the person designing them owns trippytips, believe me, I know this from experience.

I need a trippy like that long one you have on the trippy pic page.

Not sure how I was able to snag that stem tip. I did have to play with different o-ring sizes to get it to work with my different set ups. Love it with the Reo-keeps the pooling in the drip well from dripping down the side-LOL

yeah, there are a few different styles that have been around. I saw one of the half-circle ones in the classifieds not long ago, unfortunately it was already sold by the time I saw it. Periodically Bert has had some available, but not too often. Not sure what the plan is for more or if the makers have to be contacted directly. I'm sure somebody can point you in the direction of the guy who made the most recent ones (the lazy susan tiered design I have) if the latter is the case

I have a bunch of those, and I don't recommend them. I came to realize the quality (especially on the ones I have remaining) is sub-par. I'm still sitting on 10 or 15 of them. If you want one and don't mind the rough edges and uneven spacing I would be happy to send it at cost as long as you know what you're getting in to. PM/E-mail me and we can cut a deal.

That's how it is around here when it snows too. They plow the hwy, and 4 roads making one big square around town with a line down the middle. The residential areas rarely see snow plows.
We also have a large residental area on a huge hill that pretty much is all steep grade roads, and in the last few years they have started spraying this slick as snot de-icer at the stop sign areas at the top of the hill before possible snow or freezing rain, you just sit and spin your wheels on that stuff if you have a lighter car. My kia does not do well up there lol
There are a few roads on that hill that are so extremely steep that the people who live there string up rope lines in the winter and everyone leaves their cars at the bottom of those roads and then hike up to their houses. Why the city doesn't just add those 3 roads on the hill to the snow plows route I really don't understand.

2 words that changed my life:
Snow Tires

I wish I would have figured them out in the 10+ years I wintered in MN/WI

received my trippymail today. it was a really nice way to end the day and to celebrate my first vape anniversary. it's been a good vape year; thanks definitely go to bert, the trippy team, & all you tripsters who've given me such lovely company along my journey away from cigarettes. :toast:

I have studded snow tires, I just haven't put them on this season. Aside from temperatures, we've only really had like 3 days of freezing rain and maybe 1/2 inch of snow that disappeared quickly and I haven't had to go over the mountain, so I've just stuck with my all weathers. This has been a really odd winter.
What I really miss is my 82 camaro. Best car ever in the snow and ice. That thing was heavy and stuck to the road no problem. Went through some bad icy winters in that thing without ever even spinning a tire. The kia on the other hand is horrible in any slightly damp weather. And if it's windy AND icy you just stay home, unless you want to know what being a hockey puck feels like LOL

Morning all. Another cold morning here, dammit!
DD, I definitely know what you mean. I had a 76 Camaro back in the day. I loved that car! My latest ride is the closest I've had to a muscle car since those days. My Magnum is definitely heavy and I love having a V8 again. That said, it's quite low to the ground and I don't know how it would deal with snow.

Good Afternoon Trippyville,

So I thought I'd follow up on an earlier post that Mom is currently in Cali enjoying what here would be balmy temps, Mrs. Brew is home safe and sound enjoying the toasty warmth of our fireplace and I finally made it in to work without any significant issue. However yesterday was a major PITA to get our drive cleared well enough for my wife to get the CR-V into the garage. In some spots we had 3' drifts but for at least 150' of our drive starting at the road we had snow that looked like this
SnapperSnowDrift2014.jpg
The tires on the snow-blower are 15" tall!!
After 2 hours 42 minutes, I had everything cleared and she arrived about 3 minutes after tucking the snow-blower back out in the shop. Thankfully it appears as though the additional snow events predicted won't come up over a couple of inches so now we're just waiting out Spring. Back in the late 60s/early 70s here in Indiana, we'd have one more major storm during Final-4 in March but I'm hoping this cycle is more like the mid-70s/early 80s. Man am I looking forward to seeing the sun on a regular basis again! Well have yourself a great Thursday and Woo Hoo tomorrow is Friday. Brew

P.S. - I got all 3 of my Trippies and man are they awesome! I will endeavor to get some pics posted when the sun comes back out again. Still looks like a German Winter here....Nothin but Grey!

Good evening Trippy Peeps,
Well Monday is over, my work out is complete and it's time to head home....whew! I hope everyone got through the post-super bowl doldrums and are headed into your week without too many issues. It's great seeing everybody checking in even some that haven't been around in a while. I've got 2 or 3 converts here at work who can't keep their eyes off my Trippies and I've told them how to get some for themselves. I may have to curb my work discussions if they get to be regulars . Well I'm headed for the house to await the latest forecast. We're expecting 5"-10" of snow to start coming in after 1pm tomorrow and my lovely wife and Mom are headed out to the airport hotel to get Mom on a flight to see my lil sis in CA. This will be a 3 week visit and I think my wife is going to de-ice the plane herself to see it goes off without a hitch. I may have to drive over to the airport to drag her and her CR-V home behind my truck. Winter has definitely been hard on us this year. Thankfully we won't be having the sub-zero temps to go with it. This ought to be a fun drive into work on Wednesday morning. Half-way to the airport, winch and tow strap at the ready and poised to rescue the Mrs. Brew
