Happy Happy Birthday to our Birthday Boy Bert! You are such a blessing and I wish you many happy returns  Please, give your mom a big hug from me for bringing such a wonderful light into the world ;)

Got my Trippy mail today! :headbang:

Only place I could get any decent light was over by the big kitty condo. Needless to say, somebody was very curious what I was doing

Oh KJI - I did so love that one in the middle! So glad it found it's way to a known Trippykin home :D

Okay, I'm breaking down and ordering a HH57. I've got a couple of questions though: first, long barrel or short? I think I read somewhere that the long barrel has a cooler hit. My big question though: it says not to use above 4 volts. That makes no sense if you're getting a 2.5 or 3.0 ohm atty. I'm planning on using it on my VV Reo grand, so I'm leaning towards a 2.0 or even a 1.5. 3rd question: since I'm using it on my REO, do I need a drip shield? What do you think?

I liked the 2.0 & 2.5 on my vv woodville (reonauts unite!) and I didn't use a drip shield. I did however use a donut trippy tip!

I love the HH357. However, I've put the Hornet on my reo and haven't taken it off, hehe (except to rebuild the coil that is).

Thanks, Willow. I'd kinda figured out I wouldn't need a drip shield, especially since I read that to use one I'd have to use a 510/510 adaptor, which I don't think would really work on a BF anyway. I'd been using an A7 on my REO, but I got fed up with trying to rebuild the wick (trying to thread the holes are a pain) and went back to using super shorty cartos. I think I'm going to get a 2.0. Now long barrel or not. I'm leaning against the long barrel simply for aesthetics: I'm thinking the shorter atty would look better on my REO.

Happs, Bert! :D

Reid, yeah don't bother with a drip shield, won't really serve much purpose on a Reo and just be one extra thing to muck about with. As for the "not above 4 volts" thing, that's mainly for the 1.5 ohm and doesn't apply to the higher resistance ones. For a VV Reo I'd go 2.0 or above, myself :2c: As much as I love LR and SLR on an unregulated mod, I still tend to prefer the vape of a 2.5-3.0 at higher voltage (even when it is the same watts) in most cases, particularly when it comes to store-bought cartos and attys. Doesn't get much better for me than a 3 ohm Cisco spec atty at around 5.3 volts :vapor:

Broke down and bought a new mod with some of my Bday money, black copper Stingray, should be here tomorrow. Did I need it? Nope, but it's been a while since I went on a mod buying spree and I needed to feed the itch, not to mention the pics I saw were smexy :p

Anyone have a suggestion for a inexpensive mechanical mod, that is telescoping, magnetic bottom button and comes in brass & ss?
Want a hard hitting mod. I'm thinking a magneto clone or nzonic or maybe the kamry K100 or k101r.
I'd like to be able to use a kick in it also preferably with a 18650 bat. I just don't know the way to go.

There are a couple mods that can Kick and 18650, usually with the use of optional add-on parts, but they're pricey and not readily available. Haven't seen any of the inexpensive ones with that capability, myself

EDIT: just looked that one up, looks like that would be a reasonably-priced option if that's an important feature for you

Glad to see ya back Sedge. How's the wife and kids these days? Hope all is well.

How are you liking the Nautilus?
I'm getting a couple in a coop to try out.

After one day I like it alot. No problems other than I can't taste my juice. Nothing to do with the tank. I got a bad head cold and can't taste anything.

Sera and the kids are doing great. Parker just started crawling.
