Good Morning Trippyville,
Well I was up and in the office at a time I'd usually just be having coffee at home or just headed out to start my commute. Not the perfect beginning to a major change but I am in the process of breaking a more than 20-year habit. I'm trying to be an 8am-4:30pm kinda guy so that I can start to spend the daily hour work out time with my wife at the facility close to the house. Mrs. Brew and I are both working into a more "Life Friendly" schedule change to maximize the time we get to spend together. Friday was our 27th wedding anniversary and we decided to make this change for the betterment of both of us. My boss just checked in to see what was up as my office is typically dark until after 10am. He is now convinced that he's seen the 4th horseman and the apocalypse is close behind. The last time, other than for training, I was anywhere near arriving before 8am at any office I worked was all the way back in 1992. Even then I worked for a technology company and immediately gravitated to watching the late, late show and showing up at 10am or later. This change actually feels good and if we get an extra hour or more a day of quality time to work on our health and fitness then I think we made the right kind of change. Still a trip to see the sun come up. I'm more of a cellar dweller and the light it burns!!

I hope everyone's having a good Monday. Brew

Well I just got back from having Samantha my cat put to sleep. Last night she started hacking and gagging and didn't stop. Needless to say, neither of us got much sleep last night. I took her to the vet first thing this morning and it turns out she had a cancerous tumor in her throat that was starting to block her airway. According to the vet, there was really nothing that they could do. So I went in, cuddled her a bit and said goodbye. So it's a sad day here in lovely NO. At least it came quickly; just last week she was proudly strutting around the house with a dead mouse she had just caught. Plus she had gained almost 1/2 a pound in the last month once I switched her to the new food (it doesn't sound like a lot until you realize that she weighed just over 4 pounds).

I am sorry Hun,
I too have animals and I know how hard it is to lose one.
At least she didn't suffer and it sounded like she had good life.
My thoughts and prayers too you and your family.
