Morning all. Hope y'all are having a great day!
As for me, I've been up since 4 this morning to get exams graded in time to hand back today. Since they took them on Tuesday, normally I'd take a week to grade them, but since today's the drop date, I figured I'd be nice and get them back to them today. I'm definitely heading home afterwards for a siesta!

Wow-Had my first disagreement on FB and the thread was deleted. Guess I'm getting what one would call crotchety in my older age, the thread was deleted-lmao. Possibility that my asking him if he was 8 might have been an issue.
All because I asked that the OP question be answered with advice to the OP's question and not go off topic to purchasing a kayfun. He wanted to know about the wicks in a Protank. Wow-was a strange exchange….. I stand my ground in helping someone with their choice of vaping device and not suggest they try what I find to be the device that works.

I kinda feel sorry for him. I remember a time when I was mad at the world and it took some time to realize it was my attitude that led to the outcome I was experiencing. The lessons of life and growing up to acknowledge our responsibilities of who we are and how our responses to life directly relates to our inner selves.

Seems like fb was not the greatest place yesterday. I ended up going to bed early because I was fuming over some posts. I have a group of friends who are very anti e-cig and they were posting some report about more calls to poison control in regards to e-cigs. I took at look at the report and it really looked like it *could* be because people are leaving their supplies where pets/children can get to them, or the fact that more people are using e-cigs, but the number is still so much lower than for regular cigarettes.

I can't pull out a bunch of science that necessarily PROVES without a doubt that e-cigs are completely safe, but seriously as far as harm reduction goes, there is no question in my mind. And from a personal standpoint the fact that I don't wake myself up all night long because I'm wheezing, can laugh without going into a coughing fit, haven't had bronchitis since I made the switch, and the doc says my lungs sound great is enough proof for me.

People irritate me sometimes. But I will quit ranting because it's Friday!

I haven't heard back about the job, so I'm feeling a little disappointed, but I keep telling myself it just means something even better must be around the corner!

I agree. There was a story in the NY Times about poisoning by liquid nicotine, with an example of a woman overdosing because the e-cig she had in bed with her broke during the night. WTH would you have your device in bed with you?

People leaving their liquids where children or animals can get to them is very sad. As much as I have been reading about it makes me wonder how much of it is actually true.

Sleeping with your e-cig and it breaking and leaking enough to overdose a person? I don't know how that can be true, oh well, shows how much I know.

I could see it happening if you're using a tank and using juice with like 24mg nicotine in it. Just an ecig? Doubtful. Again, who sleeps with their device? I'm careful to keep my juices and such up and out of Sophie's reach. I know there's speculation on the FDA requiring child-proof tops on juice. From my experience, children can open the damn things easier than I can, lol.
