Good Morning Trippyville,
I've been too busy to do much other than work, workout, and do more work! I'm now 3 weeks into my new schedule that has me into work before 8am. I head for the house around 4:30pm and then off with Mrs. Brew to the gym. Still down about 57-59lbs and starting to see just the littlest progress from the strength training. I won't be doing any poses or anything but I am back in 34" jeans and dress pants. I was pushing 40s when I started. Mrs. Brew is kicking .... too and sharing the workout regiment is definitely getting us more quality time together.
Well I saw the visit images and how I miss seeing you guys. I really do expect to be in Colorado some time later summer or early fall. I have a life-long friend down in New Mexico that we will be visiting and then a drive up to hopefully visit Bert & Beata. If I could just get together a group of the Trippy-Kin then my life could be whole again. Missing the gang big time! I hope you all have a great week and hopefully I'll be coming up for air by the middle of next month. My little sis and BIL are coming in for 10 days to partake in the month of May festivities and were taking them out to the track for the first time since High School Senior Skip Day (school-sanctioned event) It's going to be a great May for sure. Then a couple of months of family visits and landscaping projects before some road trips. Looking forward to this warmer weather. Had an inch of snow Tuesday morning and saw several slide-off accidents on the way to work. Nutty damn weather!
I wish I could have been out there to hang with you Wharf Rat, Bert and Beata! Looking forward to seeing Colorado as it's one of those places we've considered moving to when the need to be in Indy dwindles. Not sure when that'll be but checking out spots that might provide a better climate for our future foggieness! North Carolina was the another in the top 10 but we never seem to slow down enough to head east for a gander. Only time we make it that far south is on the way to Florida with limited time to venture off the path. The other trip were planning this year is another road trip up to Watkin's Glen with Mom to visit life-long friends of my parents and us kids for that matter. Vic and Linda are celebrities of the old Grand Prix circuit owning the hotel where all the driver's stay for so many years.
Watkin's Glen Motor Inn Vic raced for Great Western Winery in the 70s Can-Am series and still has a classic McLaren M12 that he and his nephew race. He called it his retirement fund when we visited a couple of years ago cause it's one of a very few cars that still competes to this day. Their family has owned the hotel for 3 generations and their restaurant rivals any in town. Love that wine country as well and all on a 38 mile-long finger lake. That too will be a good time providing it's in the heat of the summer. Too close to the Canadian border to be on my list of retirement locales

Well sorry for the lengthy post but felt like I needed to catch up with all of the folks in Trippyville. Catcha later. Brew
I had as always a fantasic time with Bert & Beata. Bert's magic with the torch never ceases to amaze me. And the lovely Beata is the perfect hostess. I also got to break bread with Freddy. Can't wait to get back to Denver.
