Hi Trippykin

Sedge I've been waiting a long time for more Onyx and clear black peanut Trippys to make a comeback!

 I'm in line with ya! :D

I've had several wood Trippy holders but was not happy about dusting TrippyTips! I found a wee solution with a cover!

It's an ArtBin Solutions Box 4-6 Compartments Organizer (4.63" x 3.38" x 1.25"). With many thanks to Sundrinkr who posted her Trippys in a compartment holder and inspired my purchase  I got the bigger 24 compartment organizer but it was 14 x 9 x 2 and nice but I wanted something a little more handy :D

I've got 36 Trippys in there and two in use and of course my Trippy Turtle which is in a case all it's own :D It's the small things that make me happy! ;)

To the small things and Happy Weekend Trippykin :toast:

Just popping in to say hello! Doesn't look like the temp thing will turn permanent for me, the offer is far too low for the amount of travel, but they seem to keep finding me work on this contract here in Greensboro, so it's keeping me busy for the short term.

I don't know about Palmetto Bugs, but I've been waging war on those little tiny ants for a week. Borax and sugar water seems to be the ticket. Knocked out a colony overnight. Working on a second one now, they seem to be a little more bright, or I'm using too much Borax. It's amazing how one tiny drop of my husband's Big Red soda on the counter top seems to have brought in the horde. Seriously. I knew that soda was vile.

Hoping to catch up on some much needed sleep this weekend. They were trying to hit a deadline on the contract so I've been working some crazy hours. But this was supposed to end three days ago, and they have found some more work to keep me busy through next week, so I'm not really complaining.

I saw a vaper in my neighborhood. Just walking down the street. It's funny how many vape shops seem to be popping up around town. I moved here 2 years ago from Raleigh, and Raleigh is much bigger, but there are not ANY vape shops in the downtown area at all there, just a couple in the outlying suburbs. If I had the money and legislation issues weren't so up in the air right now, that's the area I'd set up shop. I see people vaping all the time when I visit there, so the lack of b&m's really surprises me.

Woo hoo! It's the weekend! I will be taking photos and getting ready for a sale!! Does next weekend work well for everyone? If so please let me know which day. I have lots of new stuff to share, and am really looking forward to this one.

Jackie has some unfortunate news that I would like to share with you all. She burned her hand badly and is currently recovering. Before this happened she finished a batch of TrippyTips, but it means she will be unable to make any more for a while. As a glassblower our hands are our most important tools, and I will be adding the option to donate directly to her in the next sale so that she has some financial support while she recovers. Please send her healing vibes, prayers, and good thoughts!

Jackie I'm praying that your burns heal quickly and as painlessly as possible.

A good friend of mine worked with the Vanderbilt burn unit in Nashville and I've seen and heard lots of stories about burns. My oldest son burnt his hand in a deep fryer at Sonic when he was working there as a teenager (it was really bad) but you'd never know it today thanks to the burn unit it healed over time with no scaring or damage. I keep a jar of SSD (1% Silver Sulfadiazine cream) in the first add kit. He also had another (red jar) of ointment that he really liked (I can't remember what it was called). It was great at keeping the skin from drying out/cracking which helped in the healing process.

Hello tripsters! Sorry to hear about Jackie.

I have been stopping into a new B&M around here to talk shop and support their business. The guys that hang there have seen a couple of my trippies and thought they were neat but didn't get very excited.
Today I had Worlds Collide on my kayfun/semovar hybrid. I just pulled it out and vaped, no display, and they freaked out from 5-10 feet away. DUDE WHAT IS THAT! It happened several times and was super fun. Getem Bert! The guys that hang out there are all sub ohm drippers, and they really liked the wide bore as well.

Hi all. Hope y'all are having a great weekend!
My thoughts and prayers go out to Jackie. I'd suggest Aloe Vera. The plant, not the lotion. My mother always kept a plant going for burns. Just pick off a stem, leaf or whatever you call them and push out the juice.
I'm fine with a sale next weekend, though I'll be out of town and on a DSL line.
