Good Morning Trippyville,
So sorry to hear about Jackie. I can only hope she heals quickly. I've been running around like a wild man trying to deal with Mrs. Brew being gone on a girl's trip to Daytona, FL for 10 days while keeping Mom propped up and the general chores that pile up when the boss is away. I've been trying to keep up but just now had a few minutes to post.

My Sister and BIL will be arriving from CA for a 10-day visit and the Indy 500 festivities start on Friday with Carb Day/Freedom 100. Of the 40-50 friends that all gather for this event every year, we have a Freedom 100 driver's mother as one of the group who was one of my High School & College friends. We always gather in the first turn under the top deck and in addition to some late morning/early afternoon cocktails there will be copious amounts of Jell-O shots brought by that driver's Mom. He has finished every year but one and last year was in the top 5 so we're all hoping this year is his year. After our high-octane brunch, we will then segue to turn 4 for Sammy Hagar & the Wabos plus Sublime. This is going to be a test of my healthy regiment. I'm finally down 60lbs and still have another 10lbs to achieve my ultimate goal but 186 is still a good place to be from 246!!

I saw the post regarding the sale and that would be awesome to have my siblings involved on a sale night. I'm all for having it this coming weekend but I just hope we'll be home since we have additional parties to attend ALL WEEKEND LONG!! I hope everyone is having a great hump day as for me it couldn't be better as I'm just a few hours from a 10-day vacation break. It could get better than this but not by much!

I finally broke down and decided to try the kayfun platform and is that a pleasurable experience. Got a Russian 91% and kayfun Mini 2.1. I find these extremely consistent but I keep looking for a rectangular mod to put them inside of... Carrying around what appears to be a C-cell equipped vibrator just doesn't work for me when out and about so my mini 2.1, grand & VV REOs are safe. However, I do have a couple of microsticks on order for use with the kayfun Mini (thanks Wharf Rat!!) so my REO mini 1.0/14500s may not survive this experiment given the same 3ml (standard mode) capacity but with a 18350 battery. Still looking for the Perfect Mod as I've already found the perfect drip tips....Thank You Bert and Company!! I hope everyone is getting through their respective weeks and that a great weekend awaits you as well. Brew

Hi all. Happy Hump day!
I'm heading to ATL tomorrow for Memorial day and the week after. So of course, issues pop up today. Is there a problem with unplugging a gas range for a length of time? The starter on one of my burners is firing even though I've not turned anything on. I don't have time to deal with it until I return so I just unplugged it. I can't think of any issues (except of course for using it ) but is there something I'm not considering?

First quick search:

If you’re hearing a constant clicking sound when the gas cooktop is turned off, you should check to see that all burners are turned in the OFF position. On some gas cooktops, you have to make sure that the knob is popped back out in order to ensure that it is in the off position.

If the igniters are still clicking after they’ve been turned on, or after it’s been confirmed that they’re in the off position, unplug your range, turn off your gas supply and call one of our technicians.

I have read a couple posts about moisture remaining after cleaning:

Thanks. the knobs are definitely off. I've unplugged it already. I guess I'll have to move it out and turn off the gas. I'll get the repairman out when I get back from ATL. I admit I'm confused about cutting off the gas though; it's got to be in the starter, and I smell no gas. If it's unplugged, there's no way for it to start; if the knobs are off, then there's no gas. So why?

I'm still shooting for a sale this weekend, and in the mean time I will be trying to get some new colors of mufflers made up. To keep things simple, inexpensive, and for easy match-ability I am using a widely available color palette. Here is the charcoal color. It is a transparent gray which goes nicely with my dragon tin. The future will also hold a much Trippier palette!

Not really sure Reidus :(, it was from a tech-so it could be a scare tactic. If you have recently cleaned it though, it could be water on the starter board to one of the knobs???????? Perhaps putting a fan in front of the knob areas would help dry it out???? The second article talks about using a blow dryer to help dry them out.
ETA: Not sure what type of gas stove you have-This guy has a quick one min vid on what he cleaned: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gKuY0r-fbis

Bert, love the new gray color!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Morning all! TGIF!
I arrived here in ATL yesterday evening after the drive from hell. Got up this morning only to find I'd left my carto punch back in NO! ARGGH! I've just placed an order with Phiniac for a new one and luckily there's a new vape shop here I'd already planned on visiting a bit later. Surely they'll have some pre-punched cartos (though I generally dislike them, and no I promise I won't call you Shirley :D)

Well the vape shop was a bit of a bust. They didn't carry any cartos or carto tanks. They had a good argument that they couldn't compete with online prices. They carry a good selection of lower-end and middle of the road gear, with twists, MVps and KSDs among others. Lots of clearos but no RBAs. Overall, a great store to send a newbie to. Though they did have a selection of their own blends of juices. I wound up with a bottle of their Gold blend tobacco, arguably the best of the tobaccos I've tasted. And an aerotank to get me through til my carto tool comes in, lol.
