Allright then.....its on...I challenge you Tripsters to show me up....You have through this weekend.....and I know the tips are out there....I know the people who have them check this thread...Show us what you got....and tell us why you love it so much....

Currently I have 51 Trippies (53 counting today's order). I've traded away or gifted a few over the years, as well, so I've owned around 60 different ones, I guess. I love them because . . . well . . . they're just awesome! The clean feel of the glass, the uniqueness and aesthetics of the designs and this wonderful community that surrounds them. I think those are plenty of good reasons to love my TTs :)

Originally I desperately wanted one, but never made a sale and in those days there were never any leftovers on the site. I trolled the classifieds for a while and missed out on a few that I saw come up, then one day I lucked out and thanks to sooner I got my very first Trippy Tip and have been hooked ever since!

This one here was my first. Old pic, it's the one in the middle of the row:

Killjoy. I love the Christmas candy cane
Erlkonigin tip.

I had first discovered Phiniac tanks and wanted a glass tip to go with it. I asked Jennifer if Chris made them and she directed me to Bert.

Trippy Tips is why I joined ECF. I was a lurker at first, but when I found out about TTs, I created an account. I hit my post count where I was able to post outside of the new member thread the night of a wee morning sale Bert was doing for the benefit of Europeans.

I came on the thread and Panky gave me some sale stratagem via PM. I score three that night and have been hooked since.

Well, here it is. My collection at 100 strong.

Here is a top 10 pic. Honestly, there are quite a few more that could be exchanged for many of these. They are in no specific order.

1. Forget what this one is called but its an awesome shape and super cool to look at. I know it was made by Bert and its some kind of fuming technique in a wig-wag pattern.

2. Double amber purple frit. Very striking color and a unique shape. I got this tip from Stacy and its the only one in the bunch I didn't pick up new in either a sale, special order or B&M.

3. Fire and smoke. My first TT and also a member of the double amber purple frit line. It really does look like flames inside the glass.

This pic was taken when I was experimenting with a lighted TT stand. The stand was never built :(

4. I believe this one is called Inside out honeycomb dragon. Made by Bert and awesome!

5. Honeycomb donut. The size of this tip makes pretty unpractical but the detail it contains is amazing.

6. Lokis Lipstick pillar. Difficult to photograph but a super cool TT. I remember this one went up in a day sale were only about 10 super high quality tips were offered. I borrowed my mothers tiny laptop and just happened to have a bit of downtime at work right when the sale was going on. There was not a set time so I got pretty lucky.

7. Fire vs. Glow laminate. Been fascinated by this one since I first saw a pic of it. The way the layers wrap around at different rates is amazing. It was originally offered to the beta team. No one bought it so I picked it up in a reg sale.

Underwater pic showing the detail. If I'm not mistaken that donut second from the right is from the Sedge collection.

8-10 Custom made inside out TTs by Freddy. Pics don't do these guys justice. I would like to see more of these come down the pipeline but fear they are a little too complex to make and sell at the normal TT price point. Actually, I wonder if this whole lot would fit that category.

Here is a shot of Blue Moon Honeycomb. Made by Mhz and the tip I mentioned missing out on from my first sale. This tip has had 4 or 5 owners, I obtained it through Stacy.

Jdub, you have an awesome collection! That is so cool.

DW and
Brew, my thoughts are with the both of you.

Today is the mark of winter solstice, for those of us in the North, and the New Moon. A great day to set new intentions for the year. Writing the map down and developing actions to bring them into reality helps!
Peace!

Good Morning Trippyville,
Thanks for the thoughts and am happy to report that were actually getting things back on track for Christmas. Won't be her grand effort but it won't be a Grinchie Christmas either. I love seeing all the early drool-worth tips and will have to add my first never to be forgotten tip that set the hook for the future. James Yuan, Non-Dichro Taper beside a later aquisition Donut in the same glass. Sadly the taper sits here now with the tip of the tip broken....but it's still my fave just needs some spa time. Brew

Hellooooooo, I've just seen the new plasma tank for the kayfun and of course I shall have to buy it, what a beautiful piece of work. A couple of questions, how tall is it? does it increase or decrease the size of a KFL+ or is it the same size? Secondly does anyone have a pic of it on a kayfun, perhaps with coil and juice so I can see what it looks like?

Again congrats on a stunning piece.......now where did I leave my bank card.........

Hey Sedge,
Kcos was the blessed soul who on the sly PM'd me after I had an Angry German Kid meltdown on the thread. I think she was getting it for someone else but decided to sell it to me instead. Another testament to the wonderful Trippyville folks! Brew

Brew. The Yuan donut looks like my first donut I ever got. Purchased from the classies and later sold to jdub.

Pics and info are scarce right now as the tanks have yet to ship.

Oh, I believe the SANTA14 discount code is still active

I believe the Plasma will fit all iterations of the OEM KF 3.1 and Lite versions and has been successfully tested on a few clones.

I couldn't have said it better myself! I have sent the Plasma Tank off for review so videos are coming soon. I prefer the KF Lite since it has a lower profile base and because the bottom fill is nicer IMO. The Plasma Tank will work just fine with the 3.1 as well though, and if you turn the unit upside down and unscrew the Plasma Tank from the base it is very easily filled with any bottle, and also allows for a quick wick replacement mid-tank!

bring these up, they should explain somewhat
