I'm trying to buy the plasma tank right now, santa14 doesn't work BTW but thanks, and I'm getting a message about shipping:

This shipping method is currently unavailable. If you would like to ship using this shipping method, please contact us. 120912-002278

Should I ignore and proceed?

I believe they are shipping a few at a time. Bookmark the plasma tank page to keep an eye on the order # shipped. Bert mentioned not being able to access the page if its not bookmarked once the sale has ended. The site currently says last order shipped was 3479, my order is 3481 and ordered Tuesday night. I can only assume there was more than one person ahead of me. Keep in mind Bert will have to make each tank by hand and the holidays are on his back

Killjoy. I love the Christmas candy cane
Erlkonigin tip.

That one was calling my name loudly ;-) It will match quite well with one of my early donuts

EDIT: had to re-upload image elsewhere. The code tinypic gave me hotlinked a half-naked pic of some redhead, instead

Hey Sedge,
Kcos was the blessed soul who on the sly PM'd me after I had an Angry German Kid meltdown on the thread. I think she was getting it for someone else but decided to sell it to me instead. Another testament to the wonderful Trippyville folks! Brew

What the heck ever happened to KCOS anyway?

Been really dark here so the light for this sucks. I am at 43 trippies. 4 are on loan ATM. I've broken 4-5 beyond repair. Including my first tip, and an early trippy I traded for.

They are all my favorites. Every day the different shapes and draw effects move up and down in preference.
I see a couple that need new metal bases added

Here are quick full mod shots of the skirted trippy.

4ad3975ab270aeb533becaaa64cd2354.jpg

Kayfun 4 vaporflask. Orchid clone extended tank, aftermarket chimney, darkstar 30.

The skirt is cool, but I think it will be a case by case thing for me. Original, metal, fancy metal, skirt all look better than each other from time to time.

This particular ring sometimes looks awesome. Other times the camo brown and tan in there are more noticable. They don't fully match the tip and can be a Tish weird.

Overall cool though.

You are planning to glue the metal bases on yourself?

I see some cool stuff in there btw.
Thanks! Yes, I beta tested the metal base and managed to separate it. Purchased some glue to fix it and have much left over.

How do you like the kf4? I have one on order as a Christmas gift to myself [emoji48]

Shorter summery.
Overall the vape is a little better than my old kayfuns. The increased airflow and filling make it a nice addition for my normal setups. If you want to run something 30w+ with big air this is still not the ideal device. To me the kayfuns have always been the very best no hassle vape. Take it when you need thought and leak free satisfying performance. This is that with subjective +/-'s.

Extra thoughts

I fill my 3.1's and lights by removing the whole top cap. I use many bottles with no nozzle or dripper and just pour. The k4 has a smaller opening to pour into, making it a more skilled operation. It is a non issue with any form of nozzle. Filling it is 100% flood leak free. I have not had a single drop of juice come out of the airholes at any time.

The Tank is smaller, and for right now not expandable. Not a big deal but a little annoying if you vape a lot (I do) and don't want to refill often. Filling is easy though.

Air flow is better, adjustment is more noticeable, adjustment less prone to moving. Airflow is still not what I would consider wide open. This is a plus and a negative for me. Even with the 4s post it is not wide open.

The ring that surrounds the build deck gets really close to the post screws. If you are using thick wire, or clip leads at a bad spot it can cause shorts.

The whole device is more complicated. Things move, do this when part x is in position b. It isn't hard, and this doesn't matter at all after you are built and using the device. Full maintenance mode just has a small learning curve as the device is no longer a few parts.

Well, here it is. My collection at 100 strong.

10_zpse5177363.jpg

Here is a top 10 pic. Honestly, there are quite a few more that could be exchanged for many of these. They are in no specific order.

1. Forget what this one is called but its an awesome shape and super cool to look at. I know it was made by Bert and its some kind of fuming technique in a wig-wag pattern.

deuce_zps71b14bb7.jpg

2. Double amber purple frit. Very striking color and a unique shape. I got this tip from Stacy and its the only one in the bunch I didn't pick up new in either a sale, special order or B&M.

3. Fire and smoke. My first TT and also a member of the double amber purple frit line. It really does look like flames inside the glass.

This pic was taken when I was experimenting with a lighted TT stand. The stand was never built :(

4. I believe this one is called Inside out honeycomb dragon. Made by Bert and awesome!

dranon1_zpsc7a0eeff.jpg

5. Honeycomb donut. The size of this tip makes pretty unpractical but the detail it contains is amazing.

6. Lokis Lipstick pillar. Difficult to photograph but a super cool TT. I remember this one went up in a day sale were only about 10 super high quality tips were offered. I borrowed my mothers tiny laptop and just happened to have a bit of downtime at work right when the sale was going on. There was not a set time so I got pretty lucky.

7. Fire vs. Glow laminate. Been fascinated by this one since I first saw a pic of it. The way the layers wrap around at different rates is amazing. It was originally offered to the beta team. No one bought it so I picked it up in a reg sale.

Underwater pic showing the detail. If I'm not mistaken that donut second from the right is from the Sedge collection.

8-10 Custom made inside out TTs by Freddy. Pics don't do these guys justice. I would like to see more of these come down the pipeline but fear they are a little too complex to make and sell at the normal TT price point. Actually, I wonder if this whole lot would fit that category.

Here is a shot of Blue Moon Honeycomb. Made by Mhz and the tip I mentioned missing out on from my first sale. This tip has had 4 or 5 owners, I obtained it through Stacy.

Welp. Wasn't that just a trip down memory lane! Abstolutely stunning, jdubious.

Hi Trippy Tipsters and Happy Xmas (or holiday of your choice) to all.

Speaking of memories, last time I popped by I was looking to see if Delilah was still around these parts. Then I saw mention of Panky. Is the Panks still around?

Thanks for the beauty, Bert. It's timeless and endless. :)
