Good Afternoon Trippyville,
Happy to see that Reidus is digging the REO VV Grand. So happy to keep this one of a kind REO in the Trippy family. Rob on made a few of the glow-in-the-dark REOs and I believe only a single VV Grand got this treatment. Blu sold it to me and now I happily pass it on. As for the vape of late, I'm just bouncing back and forth between platforms. I really like the Plasma/kayfun combo on my DarkStars but haven't found the same experience using the same tank setup in the MiniStick box mod. I think having the Plasma housed inside the mod just limits the airflow resulting in less than ideal function. I tried lowering the resistance of the coil last night and then swapped that particular tank out to the DarkStar. Once it goes onto the DarkStar, the flavor and vapor shine. I also tried coiling up one of my RM2s to replace the Chalice III I'd been using on my REO Grand and find that too seems to be more satisfying than the Chalice. Weird how perception changes after swapping back and forth. Still need to continue experimenting before making any definitely switch in platform. I do have (2) original REO Mini 1.0s with Hornets that will be going to the classies shortly since those have been upstaged by the newly released REO Mini 1.0 low-profile. I like the upgraded dual magnet setup and the LP platform for use with the chalice III. A no-leak solution for an all-day pocket backup.

Now bring on the Trippies and Plasmas!! Still need a Medium and Electron to begin filling out the Plasma collection. Hope everyone is having an awesome day. Brew

Heeeeeee's Baaaaaaack !!!!

What a wonderful 14 days it's been. 2 nights at Levi's and 3 at Soldier's and 5 days soaking in the blissful waters of Wilbur Hot Springs with my Bride.

The Dead came out ready to please... and they did just that. Each night was better than the last and yet the one before was better than next.... It exceeded my expectations my far.

The crowd was all about the music and the sense of community. Talked to dozens of people, all here to send the Boys off, enjoy the magic one last time and reminisce about the past.

"Strangers stopped strangers
just to shake their hand
Everybody's playing
in the Heart of Gold Band
Heart of Gold Band... "

It felt like the 70's hippie love and peace much more the the huge crowds of the 80-90's, yet there over 70K in the stadium and 1000's more outside. Nothing like seeing close to 100K DH's taking over Chicago

Our hotel played the Dead all weekend long and the staff all wore Tie-Dye !!!! I heard other hotels did the same.

An experience I'll never forget.

Mrs Wharf picked me up at the airport and we were off to Wilbur. 4 nights and 5 days soaking in those healing waters was very much needed for both of us. Regarded as some of the best waters on the planet with high Lithium content.... who needs Xanax :D

Wilbur is out in the middle of... nowhere ! No cellular, no wifi and not even an electrical socket to plug in (yeah, that's hard to get used to) but so good for the soul. I can't think of a less stress-free place on earth.....\

I've rambled on enough, hope all is well with the Merry Tripsters !!!

Thanks for sharing that Wharfie. Although I've never been a dead head, I was sorry to have missed that concert. I do have some of Mickie Hart's stuff that I dance to, and saw a piece about what he had planned for the show. it looked awesome! it must have been something to see.

Morning all. Happy Hump Day!
Heads up: I received an email supposedly from Paypal this morning, informing me that there was suspicious activity on my account and they had to limit access. I was supposed to open the attachment (form.html) and complete it. I contacted Paypal and yep, it's fake. So if you get one of these, DO NOT open the attachment!. I know most of y'all are savvy enough not to fall for it, but since we all use Paypal here, thought I'd give y'all a heads up.
BTW, I got a new phone yesterday. BestBuy had the Galaxy Note 4 on sale for $1 with 2-year contract. I was originally looking that the S6, but I couldn't ignore that deal, especially since I've generally been happy with my Note 2 (my only irritation is that taking one-handed pics is kinda awkward). And just so's you know and can avoid the frustration I went through last night, if you're a Verizon customer, you have 2 separate passwords; one for your Verizon account and one billing account password. They aren't the same! I spent over an hour on the phone and live chats with Verizon and BestBuy before I figured this out.

HELLLLOOO, ISSS ANYONE HEEERRREEE? {echoes bouncing in the empty room}.
Just wanted to check in. Classes are over for the summer, Praise God! My graduate class talked me into baking brownies for the last day of class, so I brought in a batch of Mexican brownies as well as mint-chocolate chip brownies. To say they were well received would be an understatement. Not surprising considering the 4 basic food groups for graduate students: caffeine, nicotine, fats and sugars. :D

Got my latest Zamplebox in and they were all good. The most interesting one is named Leprechaun Smack, by Black Label. It's a mint milkshake. Right behind that is CR14 by Urban Legends, a cucumber mojito. Who'd have thunk?

Oh, for those of you who have FYI , check out the new show "Child vs. Chef". It's a cooking show where a group of kids, ranging in age from 7-14, compete against an adult chef. Damn those kids can cook!

Hello Trippyville,
Hey Reid, Sounds like a very nice send off. I hope you're enjoying some well deserved downtime. I am not but hopefully the nightmare at work will subside soon. I have not had a day off in almost 5 weeks. Major project going badly so it's weekends and nights until I get this figured out. Really tough on multiple fronts. Feel like every facet of my life is coming off the rails or letting me down just when I have no time to react. For sanity sake, I'm just drinking, vaping and watching fiction-based TV for an hour or 2 a night. I feel just like this emoticon  Brew

Morning all. Hope y'all are off to a great weekend!
LOL, my Sophie has a stalker. For the last few weeks, most of the time when I take Sophie and Sam out for walks, a small black cat (cat, not kitten) has taken to following us through the neighborhood. She seems to be taken with Sophie, or more likely, she realizes that Sophie really, really hates it, lol. Sam could care less, but Sophie wants to get her so bad.

Apparently I'll be sitting with my laptop in anticipation of a Trippy sale :pop:
Haven't picked up any new Trippies since March, I think, so it's time to scratch that itch

On a side note, Bert, any chance of a few more Erlkonigin bases in the future? Like maybe a couple small bulbs or flatmouth peanuts? ;)

Absolutely, I have a ton of metal bases made for those, but since the last ones sat for a while I haven't been making them. If you have any favorite tips that you'd like converted I'd be happy to do that as well for the cost of postage, just say the word!

I'll be in Milwaukee at a conference. :( While I should have wi-fi, I haven't yet tried accessing Trippy tips on my Android. Hopefully it'll work, though my tablet isn't as fast as my desktop. Oh well, the only thing I really, really want is a medium tank. At least, I'll have my Aeropress with me, so I'll have decent coffee, lol.
Speaking of which, I recently added another coffee maker to my arsenal: the French Press. Don't get me wrong; I love my AP. The only thing I dislike is that it only makes a single cup of coffee at a time. With the FP, I can make 3 cups at a time (though I have to put the other 2 cups in a thermos), which is much more convenient.
