Works a treat with the purple Efest, gives a nice short throw, no need for magnets.

Here's a couple pics of how they are made. First they are turned done to size and cut to length on the lathe. Then they are held in the mill, faced, the main hole is interpolated, then the second which is the rim. Then a bit called a thread mill comes in and cuts the threads. Then back to the lathe to be finished. I thought I had some pics of the lathe work but I don't, I'll take some next time if anyone wants to see them.

There's vids on youtube.com search tmodcustoms. The thread mill is pretty cool to watch, it takes a tiny little blade and cuts the threads into the hole. I'll hunt down or take some more pics.

Tiffany has always been one of my favorite cerakote colors, it's fantastic, feels great, not a big seller tho haha.. I like it .

I love that Tiffany Blue also, had a 1968 Mustang Fastback that Color... For my H.O. Slot Car set, I was 8 y/o. 
My favorite slot-car was the Green Hornet Black Beauty/ Chrysler Imperial in Black with Green windows & headlights.

Here's a little bit of my exotics stash, I just landed a few feet of brass bronze and copper in all different sizes, for any mod I make. There's gonna be a sale soon. . . Maybe tomorrow. .
The engraving looks dope on brass, coooer, bronze too.
But it is pretty sweet over anything really.

You've inspired me, Tom... The insulator in my Hobo RDA melted (running low builds, too close to the insulator... it is a clone, so they used some cheaper insulator). Well, I found some peek round stock, chucked it up in a cordless drill and machined it with a file. I call it my 'redneck lathe'... LOL. Got the job done, and now I'm vapin' on it again. I'd be in heaven if I had access to the awesome toys that you have!!
Heck yeah! That's sweet! How do you like that hobo, I didn't like the first one I got, which may have been the 2nd one out. . But it was really tight so I never really played w/it much.

Yep, a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do, right? I grew up on a farm, so I learned early that you have to make do with what you have... I watched my dad do a valve job on a car engine with a cordless drill. He smeared some rubbing compound on the back of the valve, pulled it into the seat and then chucked the drill to the stem. Ground it out, cleaned it off, put everything back together... then drove the thing 500 miles back home!
I like it, man. It was PIF'd to me a while back... it's one of the older styles, too. Once it got it back up and working, I threw a 0.25 ohm build in it and threw it on a mech. It's not quite as open of a draw as a lot of others, but the flavor is right up there with the Derringer. And with a good low, dual coil build it can even make some pretty decent clouds. Hell, the juice well is big enough that I can fill it up at home and drive all the way to work without a refill... That Derringer, though... I need a bottom feeder for that one.
Here's my Redneck Lathe set-up... with a zip-tie to keep it running! LOL
