Bright as fcuk orange.



It's cerakote called safety orange, it's crazy how different it looks under different lift, notice the top, with the lift directly on it, vs. the sides. . . It's not too prevalent in this pic but it is a huge difference.

I'm not a big fan of Orange, but that looks pretty good.

Hey Tom: I noticed the T bar is very deep in the robins egg blue mod you did last week, was that intentional? Is it optional? I like it. The T bar in the girl looks thin can you do my 7068s a little deeper like the RE Blue? I'm assuming the extra depth was intentional as I have a pretty good understanding of how it's made.

Hmmm you're right. Take a look at post #1100. Almost looks like the cuts are reversed in the orange and the blue. If that makes sense. Almost appears as if there is more bottle surface area exposed with the thinner t post.
Could it have to do with the amount of material that is removed with the girl VS the tranny??

Well, time I said something in this thread. I've been following it for quite a while and I have to confess that my first thought was that these were quite expensive. The more I looked at them and saw their quality and the work that went in to them, the more I realised that my first thought was wrong

I then got to the point of resisting the temptation to get one. I have now passed that point

That contrast on havoc's Ti with just the face sanded is a pretty cool look.

I almost had more pic's ready today but UPS came through with some warm live (fertile) chicken eggs and I had to run out and stick them under a brooding hen.

I'm all set to finish my new Ti topper's tonight after work though - show off some more of Tom's handy-work.

I just got some 20g nichrome. Not sure yet if I'll actually use it on this build. I suspect it's pretty hot stuff

I love my Girl's T-bar, it was the first thing that I caught my eye on the first TMod I seen.

And to think some people were trying to get be to cut it off...

The RE Blue mod is one of my personal mods so it gets experimented on a bit. The holes have been recut a few extra time so the holes are a little deeper making the bar a little smaller, I life the way it feels, the bar fits deeper into your knuckle. It's a combination of the smooth cut squonk holes and being cut extra times. I think this mid for example has had something like 6 or 7 different colors on it while playing around with different colors of cerakote. . . Different colors go on differently of course. .

My neighbor were having that discussion once, it made sense to me, natural birth control, like "even a bird knows it has to build a nest before.."

I don't know for sure, I always eat them. LOL

I think it has more to do with lighting and wether the chicken turns broody and doesn't want to come off the nest. I'll ask the expert (my wife) and get back to you.

That's cool and all, but can you cut them a hair deeper on my girls? Say 1- 1.5mm further inboard?

I have said nothing of the sort. If I don't want the "T" bar I don't want a "T" Mod. Seems pretty cut and dry to me.
It's like saying I really want an airplane but Im really clumsy so make it without the wings.
