Tom, what's your recommendation for cleaning the surface of the mod under the atty. Got a little spotty discoloration of the metal where juice had seeped a little. Tried isopropyl but just didn't have much effect. Was thinking about acetone?

I use all kinds of stuff to clean mine, on bare aluminum the sky's the limit, I use brake cleaner, isopropyl, acetone, no worries, you may want to try some aluminum polish as well on a bead blasted finish.
I heard the 7068 stains bad tho.



Just kidding about that 7068, I bet it will polish of if acetone won't take it off.

Treating your mod and battery contacts with Deoxit first followed by Deoxit Gold goes a long way. As far as cleaning the outside of the blasted mod, a little automotive special finish wheel cleaner sprayed on a soft tooth brush followed by a clean rinse works for me.

Insert copper contacts and positive in lemon concentrate. the advantage of this, no material abrasion. minus with a glass fiber pen. I hope my English is understandable

Received my 18650 today. Black cerakote, lizard etched, fully rounded, SS pin. Dialed it all in and popped in an IMR 18650 3.7V 2200mAh 20A, the new one and Heyzoos Chreesto does this mod WOMP. REOMIZER 9.0 on top dualed with 24g,1.5mm, 8/7. Thanks TBevs for an unreal mod. I am in a little bit of shock how sweet your creation really is.

Solid recommendation bro. I just ordered one. There are only 3 left on Amazon. Ima try the lemon juice too and buff the plus contact first to make really smooth again. Thanks for these suggestions cause I know rough textured contacts will oxidize quicker than smooth contacts

Any recommendations for cleaning the bottom of the TMod housing to maintain good contact with the battery?

I taped some fine sandpaper to the end of an old sharpie and stick it down in there twirling it around. Then I take a qtip with 91% alcohol and clean down in there where I sanded.
