Not sure how SS threads would become stripped through screwing into alu that just can't happen. Sorry to hear that, do you at least have a dripping atty to tie you over. Give Tom a shout in catfish, he's likely to be in a position to give better advise

I've never had anyone strip the threads in a mod, but aluminum should strip b4 ss for sure. I can't see them slipping a fake into a batch of authentic attys, more likely it's just stripped. You can buy die and chase the threads , or I can for you, ch probably can too., but if you can put it in the mod till it goes down in the hole without threading it's way too far gone.
I would recommend against trying to use that, it's a short waiting to happen.
Yeah.. It appears to be pretty well done. Kinda crappy.. I wouldn't have thought an authentic would have that kind of issue after only a month of use. Blows my mind.

I reckon you cant take a long drag after cleaning the beast w.ith ni80 0.2 build[emoji6]cleaned and sanded [contacts] my aluminium. just got nichrome80 today, have an 0.22ohm build waiting for it to dry out a bit
first time i have sanded the negative since i got it months ago, i usually just wipe out with a rag
