So after reading the manual and then having it click that Tom had mentioned 0.065 ohms and the book saying that, that resistance is optimum for TC, off I went. Grabbed a second Stumpy this time wrapping a 26g 3mm 7/6 and locking in at 0.065 with the same temp and reducing the joules a bit from 28 to 25.

Interesting that while the 0.065 7/6 coil gives out a warmer and wetter vapor, the 14/13 0.17 coils smokes it ( no pun intended) in terms of denser vapor production. Flavor? About the same tipping a bit towards the 0.17.( most likely due to the density) Cranking the joules back up to 28 with the 0.065 made no noticeable difference as to where dropping the 0.17 down to 25 certainly did. Another interesting thing is that both coils hit the target temperature fairly accurately when checking the display. Right now I'd have to say that I enjoy the 0.17 build more, so back to it I went. Did I mention that I'm really digging this mod?
The tinkering continues....
