I used this mod all day today, usually I have a few mods with me but I used this one alone, and it's freaking awesome! I'm making new lids, the button will be a tiny bit smaller, i think they will fit a 9mm bullet button instead if a 45ACP like the 10ml mechs. I still have some of each finish available to ship now, they will go out Tuesday or Wednesday. It's exactly the same as any if my other mechs, hits just as hard, it's just stupid tiny, prolly weighs less than half as much as the 10ml mods, I love it I love it. ..

The sx350j mod, which is as small as you can possibly get all the components and a 10ml bottle, even looks big next to this little thing.

Can anyone ( @Tbev ?) help me out on this one. My mod collects dust; I'm hesitating to use it because it's such an effort for me to press the button down. The shorter black button already made my live a little bit easier, bending the spring, too. But there must be something else I can do (or buy). Help, please.

Thanks again for all your suggestions which included:

  • A Magnet: "Did you try a 10mm x 1mm magnet under the neg of the battery?" (via @Doffy)
  • Bending: "you might be able to get by taking the top off and pushing the button as far in as you can. Do this a couple times." (via @Asbestos4004 @Tbev)
  • O-rings: "Remove the button from the top and slide the O-Ring down to the base of the button, replace & test" (via @MFToms59)

I already knew about…

  • … cleaning the mod to ensure that the conductivity is maxed out, (via @WharfRat1976)
  • … being careful with 'spring battery distance adjustments' because I don't want an auto-firing mod

The O-ring solution is the best so far. However, the problem (at least for me) still persists. The spring is so rigid, it just takes a certain amount of force to bend it and make contact with the battery, no matter what. Shortening the length I have to press down doesn't change this fact :(

As a chain-vaper which already has to deal with RSI (not thanks to vaping, but this is the direction I would be heading with the button as it is), I don't want to risk my other hand.

In short: As much as it paints me, I have to part with the mod. If any of you is interested in a yellow Tmod, send me a pm.

Holy crap, Tbev... tiny mod! Now take that and make it a parallel, please. I've been ruined by the CAM-M and my regular t-mod feels like the "lite" version of vaping.

I mean, I still use it and all that but it's the "during the day" mod before I want to get walloped with vape, then I hit the cam-m with the marquis on top. mech4lyfe, I'm not going to go with a chip as long as a mech can satisfy my cravings.

Also: I would buy another screwed-together mod if you made it smaller. I bought my t-mod specifically because it was screwed together, to carry in my bags at work. It's great: never comes open, can't come open. I don't care if it didn't carry the wrench, I can leave the wrench with the battery charger.

Also, also: If you made or could source "caps" that covered the mods and atomizer so when it was in my bags it wouldn't get any crap in it that would be great. I don't want a holster, just a cap that fits over the thing so no dust gets in it.

You haven't seen the Dually huh, it's a dual parallel, it's about as small as you can get too, the 10ml single cell mods have a little extra room in them, 1st bc b they have an allen key, that's takes a little space. But other than that there's like 0.050in in between each cell and the front cell and the bottle, that's pretty thin. There's a little extra on the outside perimeter but not a whole lot, the Dually is small, it hits, you really notice the aid with the battery sag due to the two cells under 0.3ohm.

Here's a brass dually, dual parallel 18650/10ml, I wouldn't go less than ten ml on the parallel or you'd have to fill instead of swapping cells.

You can see just how little extra meat there is too it. ...it's tight.

I can vouch for the dually! It kicks some serious a**..
I have at least one of all TMods (Mini, 18650, 26650, SX350J, Dual 18650) and a Micro 18650 on the way

A little more perspective.

It's as thick as a 22mm atty, ten thousandths of an inch wider so your atty won't touch if you lay/drop it on it's side. It's longer than two 18660's that are touching, but by less than the diameter of the little blue screwdriver.
