Gonna be the first one with a " real" piece of wood in it.
If you like wood, it's not my thing obviously, but if you like it , I will admit, it looks pretty cool, I think it's actually gonna be pretty awesome, it's the way to go. Oh get the looks of wood in a mod that you can still throw in the ground and jump up and down on without worrying about it.

Hello all, I am brand new to squonking but excited and motivated! : )

I bought the Tmod sniper grey Copterstyle had listed in the classifieds because it was a great price, it is Christmas and it will be quite a while before I can afford a new high end mod! Plus if it will shrug off a shotgun it will stand up to whatever I could do to it...lol

I chose not to go with a Reo simply because it only has a 5ml bottle and I go through around 25ml a day...3 percent nic....20 watts with a .8 buildin my drippers...i have been using the Aeolus for a long time. I am into flavor not clounds.

Aaron (Copterstyle) has given me great advice but I just wanted to say hi to everyone!

Now for a few questions :) I will only have to change out the bottle maybe 3 times a day so I am not really concerned about the screws. ..Buthas anyone modded theirs for magnets?

And as for BF atties..I am going to use that nasty Clone word simply because I don't want to spend a fortune until I find a few I really like...so..any recommendations or ones to completely avoid? I looked last night and they have a Chalice III and a Nuppin that look interesting. ..

Thanks all...and hope you have a great Christmas!

whew that was allot of typing for an old fart and on a phone to boot!

Welcome and congrats, tbev. is actually making the new tmods with magnets on the top go back about 10 pages and you will see pics of the new style. On the atty front head over to chowderheads thread and see of he has any hausters left great deal for an authentic atty or just get a stumpy which in my opinion is the best atty period only $100 and you will never need another . I Have 2 stumpy with one on my tmod that has not left it since the day I got it . the flavor is amazing and 2 post design allows for many different coil possibilities.

Hey Lance, happy to have you, I'm glad you like my mods, thanks for the kind words! I do my best to make sure they are top notch! I'm regards to magnets, some people put magnets on the battery to reduce the throw of the button. I recommend simply pressing your fire button a little bit without a battery in the mod, this will bend the contact down making the throw shorter as well.

It kinda sounded like you were referring to modify the cap/body for magnets, but that's not a great idea. Reason being you want a better ground and more secure connection than you would get from just holding the two pieces together with magnets. Here's a couple pics of the seamless mods, the magnet version. I make the lids smaller,so they are lighter, and they fit perfectly so they are recessed flush into the mod and held on 180 degrees around. Imo that's the best way, and the only way I wanted to do a magnetic cap version, it works great.

Thanks all ! Yeah I was looking at the stumpy and thump..i got the Aeolus because I can dump allot of juice in it without having to worry about it leaking out.

I know it will be a learning curve from what I am
used to...to only squonk enough to wet the wicks without flooding it...but I am sure it will come in time

Tbev I get what you're saying about the connection now! D'oh! lol and thanks for the tip on the button !

I will definitely have to get used to cleaning a mechanical again...it has been a loong time since I used my tube mods.

Aaron turned me onto the gold pen and brush so I have those ordered now

Tbev not to sound like a suck up but when I saw your mod I was like...Ohh yeah I Like that! The Reo...yep pretty cool...the stabalized wood ones...absolutely gorgeous but I would be leary about using them...im rough on mods...the Tmod? built like a freaking tank And looks great!

Like an attractive Helga from Sweden. .strong like bull ;)

Thanks buddy, that's what I shoot for. When I get to it in line I'll be doing a nice stabilized wood insert and some inlays, which can be carbon fiber, wood, stone, different metals etc. So you can still get the toughness and also add some flair that people like.
Personally I like the cerakote ceramic paint, with some cool engraving myself, which is always available as well. I just learned how to do some different patterns as well which look pretty cool over and under the cerakote

The attys you all listed...those are all converted by Catfish? Edit...found them on his thread

And man looking through the threads pics with the inserts and engravings are killing me!

If one day a woman shows up at your door yelling and screaming about how much money her husband is spending...that will be my wife
