Some people just don't understand how vaporization works, good show @Kaezziel

Yep... and it helps when you've got a super awesome mod! ;) 50W on the TMod is not the same as 50W on the Invader Mini or the Target... That SX board is definitely doing something right!

I agree, the FSK chip in my Hohm Wrecker G2 is the same way. Huge difference when comparing to most any other device watt for watt. Most other devices a watt is just an estimation it seems, especially when hitting 40±.

Makes me wonder how the DNA boards compare. I don't have a whole lot of experience with regulated mods... just the three that I mentioned...

Good to know. So if I pick up any more regulated mods, I'll probably look for YiHi or DNA. :)

Good luck with that, Rude, sounds like it should be pretty awesome once you're done with it. One of these days I'll get my crap together and try to make a mod, but I don't see it happening any time soon. For now I'll just sit back and watch the masters work and try to learn a few things here and there.

all the battery specs are in the Evolv forum for the fully max 900 3s since that's what they recommend. this is what im copying.dremel diamond cutoff wheels and drill a buncha holes and connect the dots...i hope anyways!cant wait...but i have to cuza slow shipping for the SC squonker.shapways is making the dna200 faceplate and screenholder with buttons.hope you dont mind i put this here Tom,LMK if you want it gone.

Yeah, my problem is access to my garage/workspace... I prefer to work with wood, so whenever I actually get around to getting my space sorted out, that's what I'll be playing with. Right now there are just too many family priorities, so playtime is gonna have to wait a while.

And the SX mod turns some more heads! I'm happy to hear that Kaezz! Nobody knows till they see it, the thing is sweet! It's a tough act to follow that's for sure. This new dna200 mod I had to get on the level, that's the main reason it's gone thru so many revisions. The DNA I REALLY didn't like at first, its different to use vs. the SX that I was used to. I still don't have a great grip on going thru all the menus, but its getting better and better the more I use it. I do like the brighter screen and as far as power and functionality goes, it's great. Running off of two cells or at least 2s is great, I just couldn't stand to build a mod with less that 1000mah, I mean if I could make it as small as a micrro that would be alright .....I guess... but adding a board, its gonna be on the bigger side. I could have made this new mod with a smller lipo and made the whole thing a bit smsaller but I think if your runningn over 25w your gonna want something bigger than a 900 to 1200 mah. I was pretty set on that idea and then jusst about everyone who I spoke with , that wanted to get on the list, wanted to be able to run dual 18650's so I had to go that route, I'm glad I did, for sure, I ended up getting is much smaller that I had ever thought, and its just the prototype, the actual mods will be 15% smaler that that even.

I know what you mean about where money goes sometimes. My wife has been fighting with a serious health issue for the past two and a half years. Taking care of her is pretty much where all of my time and money goes. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't have it any other way... "in sickness and in health, till death do we part", ya know? HAHAHA! And grinding in the middle of the night would probably get the same result for me... the garage is directly under the master bedroom! ;)

That's a fact, brother! Sweetest mod I've ever seen... it continues to impress me every single day. I don't think I'll ever find another mod that could beat it.
I think building the dna200 to work with LiPo or dual 18650s is brilliant! Having options is always a good thing, and I really like the way you tapered both ends on the new prototype design... can't wait to see what the actual mods look like, once you get everything just the way you want it!
