Too funny me too it's been a while I must have used too good of glue cause it hasn't budged.I've had two come loose, don't be lazy and clean out the hole before re-inserting or it won't sit flush... don't ask, but I'm waiting for it to come out again.![]()
Success! Removed and cleaned the threads of the negative post with alcohol and a q-tip. Performance is back! Gone through two battery charges and all is well. FYI for anyone having similar issues. I think now I will find an old toothbrush and do a better cleaning. Two dis-similar metals, I wonder if there is a better cleaning method?I would bet your issue stems from using different length cells. The tmsx will adjust to a wide range of cells but if you use different length cells by even a half of a mm you will notice connection issues as there is nearly zero spring in the contacts. Simple solution: adjust your negative screw a half turn when you notice the issue. Personally I have 2 sxtms and have had zero problems with either of them.
