If you would happen to have a velocity 1 or 2 collecting dust you should try it with dual vert coils. Rocking mine right now at 56w and loving it like never before. Now it's time to dig out those attys that just laughed at your dna40s and single cell sx350s. Show this big bastids who's boss.

Meh... Looks like a leaker but if you want to send one in I will give it a shot. I'm not sold on chutulu's quality thus far; but it's no so bad that I would suggest against it.

Got a pic of that velocity vert build? Looking for coil height and placement

I will take one when I get home from work. It's built as a matching (not Siamese or mirror image) pair terminated high low on each coil. The coil is centered between the posts and the edge of the deck radially. Make sense?

I just got a predator yesterday morning also. I haven't even built it yet. Evidently it comes with a chuff tip and an adapter for a regular 510 sized tip; but only one oring that has to be removed from the adapter to use the chuf tip (pictured above). Seems like poor form to sell an atty for $170 shipped incomplete, feel a bit hosed on this purchase.

How many swap back and forth between sizes?
I'd expect not many. They use one or the other.

So a single o-ring is enough.

Granted skimping on cheap parts like o-rings is cheesy.
should have at least 3 of that size, one on the tip, one on the adapter, and a spare.

Here is a few velocity vertical pics. This was a pretty big clapton 3.5mm I'd. 24 gauge inner 32 gauge outer dual kanthal clapton. Needed about 75 to run it and a 100 to check it. Verticals in the velocity deck are about the easiest deck ever to do them wtih

That's a shame Tom, all my Hellfire stuff has had extras. I don't have the Pred with me this week to check the orings. I do know the adaptor for regular tips is shallow and takes their tips and Bret's tips.

Make the predator price even more attractive is the dripper 510 doesn't come with an oring either meaning you need to mess with those too.

Worst thing for me is after an hour in an ultrasonic and a toothbrush scrub it still smells and vapes like a machine shop.

This week it is 2 years since I quit smoking.

And it is exactly one year since I got my first real BF atty, a Manta. That $115 atty was paired with my $20 Terminator and it worked beautifully. Been a happy squonker since.

Strange. My Predator didn't have even a hint of machine oil residue.
