vaping a Stumpy at 90-100 watts puts a new meaning to squonking on the LBC...I was stunned. With the clear chuff cap it's doesn't become hot...with incredible flavor...using my nude nicotine favorite (today) juice. Love that stuff..!

Never tried a Z-coil in a Maker either....let us know how it turns out Naut...!

DB probably has already.....:)
I wouldn't think it would work very well but that is pure speculation. Honestly I didn't keep a Maker from the previous run but I will be keeping a black cerakote and a blue anything, I do have something of a jones for blue stuff.....

The stumpy is one of those very few attys that works well at low watts but just gets better as the power increases.

Tom, anything happening with the new Stumpy?
It's been backburnered in favor of the catfish dna75 and Harry's new Dna75. im strongly considering aborting the current plan on my dna75/18650. A single 18650 just doesn't have the power to make the 75 much fun. I was reserving judgement until my hb6 batteries arrived, they arrived today. At 50 minutes at 50 watts the dreaded battery light came on. At 75w it was about 10 minutes; I call that a fail. I also have 5 vt75s (dna75/26650 not bottom fed) and it runs for 20-22hrs at 40w with a hurricaine. The problem is with a 26650 the jr would be slightly bigger than the 200. 25mm wide battery in the LBC vs 26mm wide battery in the 26650. I could make it a lot shorter however. Perhaps I will start hunting for smaller 3s lipos to rewire as 3p lipos for the 75.

Sorry you put so much time and effort into the project, but you don't know if you haven't tried.

I'd be really interested in YOUR version of the Stumpy, that would sell like hotcakes.

Tom, we've been having this discussion since before the LBC was a twinkle in your eye. Battery life above 50 watts with a single 18650 is atrocious. Anyone that tells you different...well....they're not telling you correctly.
If the size was going to be considerably smaller then I wouldn't mind as much carrying extra batteries

That's what I was thinking. ;) Favorite one?
I have a spool of Clapton wire from lightning vapes...5 wraps at 3.0mm id is what I've been running for a few weeks. Was wanting to try something different so just now put in parallel 28ga, 8 wraps.

I'm not done with the dna75 concept yet. I have a few tricks up my sleeve. Working on a concept for a dna75 2p micro squonk. Micro as in smaller than an e8.

tom, just a heads up, the first dna75 firmware was really quick to throw up a low battery warning prematurely, the newest firmware fixes this, think it's 6/5 release, and with an 18650 you should also lower the low voltage cut off to 2.8 volts too. that won't take the batteries down to 2.8 volts in use but it will allow a bit more sag before giving the low battery warning. on average I can get a full 8.5ml from a single 18650. not saying your lipo idea isn't better but just to give the 18650 a fair shake before dismissing it :)

Vert in a maker? That's just crazy enough to work.

Actually have two of'em running. Proof is in the pudding or in this case well steeped Wakonda. This ones built to 0.4...( topped with the chuff)

I heard about the firmware update but when I went into escribe there wasn't one there.
