Performs like it's a bargain...
It's not gonna replace my Reo, and it's not "fine craftsmanship"...but it's a damned functional basic squonker.
I mean, if you like a mechanical 1-battery vape, it's an easy pick - feels much more solid than a $30 mod has any right to. (I'd skip the "kit" - you don't need their crappy atties...)
I know the feeling... I'm using the Cam-M final revision as I type and if you think it's awesome on the LBC you should really try it on a dual 18650 mech. I have a Ti 24mm goon on the Cam-m (final) with some kilo cereal milk and it makes me remember how great mechanical can be. Reminds me I need to check on Corey's releaux shaped dually; that with a SB silicone bottle will be awesome. Dare to dream.

26g dual kanthal coils, 10 wraps each, comes in at 0.68 ohm on my series Nutter. I had stainless in there for a bit, but it heated up too hot.
I have gone back to 100% Kanthal A1 as well and 26g almost exclusively. im sure I could improve my vape 5% with temp control but I just don't have the time nor the patience to deal with it.

I have played around with temp control quite a bit, but not many of my flavors benefit from it. The rest it seems to limit their potential. I cannot even say it is a particular category that does well or doesn't do well. The atty makes a huge difference, too. The Drifter is one that does well in temp control. I need to start watching for another Drifter for sale.

Edit: Also, I have found that SS works far better for me using temp control than anything else. Nickel mutes flavoring for me.

Man I set myself up for that one.

Stoked to received the atty doe. I love everything about the chinarda except for the airflow. But the flavor is so damned good I'm actually willing to put up with it. Fingers crossed on the Chi O Atty!

I love the flavor from the chinarda, too. My issue with it is I can't get the vapor density using any kind of single coil. With a great deal of effort, I managed a dual coil, but then the airflow became a bit more restrictive. I've really tried a whole lot of time trying various single coils in several different atties, but, for me, it's too anemic.

The folks in here have a lot more experience than me, but I kept trying different builds and found my sweet spot by moving up to a 3mm coil and lowering it a bit so I could see the bottom of the coil when I look in the air hole.
