Yeah, that might be a good starter for him. He's never built before, so I'll be teaching him. Some of the pics I looked up for it look easy enough.
The Marquis (clone or authentic) are on the harder end of the spectrum for building much like the Veritas. I have a vector with one of TBev's top hats that I would let go for say $30 shipped. Authentic to boot. I never really got along with the vector. Very easy to build. Might even come with a used Marquis clone for when he is ready for the next level.

Sold. I like the vector, still regularly use my CF vector. I'll send you an email and brush up on payment options when I very back in front of a pc later today. Thanks!

This is what makes Catfish Atty mods (Tom) the best in my book the Lil things to help others, going above and beyond with everything he does.[emoji106] Have a great holiday.

Update:
After 2+ months in one instance and well over a month in others the MyMods are shipping today along with their companion attys (where desired) I'm sorry it has taken so long but after 3 different spring orders, 2 different adapter bushing materials and countless revisions to the 510 they are ready to fly.

Also on the same topic: If any of you have an email address for Paul (MM guy) I would love to have it in hopes of stocking parts that I'm certain will fail at some point (contact leaves, peek screws, weird magnets, etc) so he doesn't have to respond to a bunch of people as it would seem he is kind of done here. I have no grievances with him but I think if you are going to bail out the customers that believed in you enough to send you money should have a way to source the proprietary parts to service your purchases.

Beat you to the punch... email sent.
Another example of why I don't do PM's. I would have never found all of your info via PM's.

Wooot.
I may have a way to reach him, now that I think about it...

FWIW, I ordered both the R622CS and the R422CS from K&J Magnetics.
Neither matches the original Paul used.
The 3/8" R622CS is a little bigger diameter and the R422CS is a little smaller.
I have the R622CS in mine now and they work OK, but the pushes the bottle cap a bit. I haven't tried the others yet,but I think they would work OK, just not hold as tight (about half the force, 2lbs vs 4lbs)

A different bottle/cap (a flat one instead) wouldn't have any issues.
Or using the dropper insert for the bottle instead of the cap?

I haven't measured the PEEK screws, but maybe here?

LBC Blue, with the infamous Maker. Dual coils at .32 ohms, running at 48 watts (which is a lot, for me!). Cinnamon danish is tasting mighty fine.

60 watts is great with the right liquid. Have a couple of series mech mods that I run with dual 3mm 316L Clapton's in the 24mm Goons. Both are built to 1 ohm and with fresh batteries @ 8.4 volts, that comes out to 70.56 watts.
Nic is 3mg of course.

Regularly run my LBC/ Goons in TC using NiFe 48 duals @ 40-60 watts and 450d @ .11 to .25 ohms.

The trick is lots of air...;)

Hey chowder. What's the specs for the chi-o-atty's replacement screws? Somehow managed to lose one during the first wash and it doesn't come with spares. Hahaha

M2.5 Allen hex cap or domed m2.5 x 4mm

And if you look back in the original packaging there will be a small zip-loc bag with 1 spare of the screws that were installed on receipt and 3 of a slightly different type the bag will have a big "O" on it.

I've emptied my tin can. It has one baggy, containing the 2 different sized o rings, 1 hex key, and 2 of the original golden screws. No biggie though, I just bought 10 of the screws for a buck +.

In the mean time, im just using a standard m2.5 screw and it works well.

The bag would have been inside the mailer not inside the tin. The baggies was very thick and had an "O" in sharpie on one side. If you still have the packing mailer it's still in there. And yes the screws that were installed are standard (not modified or custom in any way).

So what's next? I still have piles of Ch-O-Attys and a few Ch-Nardas left but what's the next big one? I'm going to order a few Typhoons on my next order and I have Harry thinking hard about the Stumpy 1.1. Forgot to mention I have Goons in stock and ready to go (shipping Wednesday with a different pin configuration that will save me a little time and produce a more consistent product that if it goes well will be used on most of the m2.5 based attys.

I went a different route... I used hard o-rings as spacers on the 5 that shipped yesterday and squeezed them to fit correctly. This ads stabilty and dampening to reduce noise and rattles. As I was packing them up I stumbled across an email from someone complaining about the magnets and looked into it.
