Black Ano with bead blasted doors....... View attachment 623301
Black Anno with blue heat anno'ed Ti doors... Drops Mic....

I'm thinking this one will be a little more mainstream meaning it will appeal to a broader audience. If we get to,the point where 25 sets of add on doors seem like they would sell I'll do them. I'm thinking the Trapezoid layout might be the future of Catfish.

Have you seen the sx550 board? Imagine that where the battery is. I would bet it would be the only 550sx squonker. Bluetooth squonking; think escribe but done via an app in your phone. A little radical for most but I think it would be cool.

Love the idea of panel sets. I find I swap out doors on a sunbox to suit my whimsy.

Also love the idea of a networked chip. Now, if I could just get it connected to my smartthings hub and/or IFTTT, then we'd be cooking with gas. Things like turning on the bedroom lights and adjusting the temperature in the room with the first vape of the day would be awesome (or... you know... not, depending on your geek quotient).

Once I get away from the 1/32" inlay of the LBC the sky is the limit. Imagine black with neon blue stabilized wood panels? If I make the panels 2mm thick instead of the 1.5mm panels of the LBC I can do all sorts of crazy stuff. The LBC needed either carbon fiber or titanium due to the 1.5 mm plates. 2mm means slightly bulging stab wood, flushed stainless, flush Ti, Damascus, ti-mascus etc....
I would buy them all!!!!

So just to make sure I am following the discussion, let me try to summarize where things are heading, and correct me where I'm wrong:
1. The Trapezoid will fit either the dna 75 or DNA 60 or the SX550.
2. It will also come with a specially made and replaceable lipo and the option to use 1x18650?? Battery.
3. The Trapezoid will also utilize changeable 2mm thick panels (CF, stab wood...etc. ).
4. Work will start on the Trapezoid after the holidays (o/a Jan. 15th).
5. Price: ???
6. The CAM-M is on the horizon, with an adequate housing identified, but no date or price is set yet.

Lol...
1. The plan is to have the dna60 or dna75 optional on the Trapezoid. The sx550 is huge (think 2 dna200s wide and 2 dna200s deep, Hoooge. I want to do a sx550 in the same format as the Trapezoid but it will require a new chassis

2. The 18650 is only an option on the LBC jr, not the Trapezoid.

3. Correct, after release.

4. Correct.

5. I won't have a price until my submitals come back

6. The Cam-M2 body has been chosen but my usual supplier doesn't carry them, nor the Typhoon Rda. I will find a new supplier for both of them. The Cam-M2 will be the first as the cam2 will help offset the massive cost of kick starting the Trapezoid. $30k+ The pricing on the Cam-M2 will probably in the $150 range with a VT BF 510. My hope is to do,them with a squonk hole that will allow you to pull, the bottle out the squonk hole instead of fiddling with battery plugs and pull/push and pray loading and unloading of,the bottle. I liked the Cam-M1 but the bottle installation left something to be desired.

I'm right there with you.... when I started designing the original LBC it was primarily because I wanted one and no one would make me one... I'm still waiting on the shootout between the LBC and the lost vape.

Is it to late to get on the LP Goon list?
Not at all but they won't be available until mid January to me. These come with a BF pin already but I will see if they need improvement and make such improvements or if none are needed I will sell them as is for a discount if I can keep, them moving. I did buy 2 of,them at retail along with a few more black 24mm goons. Honestly I don't have a lot of hope for the LP once the hype fades. I see the chamber being too small to cloud it up and too much air flow for its size. I hope I'm wrong. I also get the feeling that the margins will be thin due to them scrambling to find a different machine shop than the original goon.

Dammit Tom quit coming up with all this great stuff I told you I'm out of work at least 3 more months, time to start breaking out the hidden stash of hundreds in the garage and secret pocket in my wallet . I'm definitely interested in the trapezoid with the 75 and lipo .

So i just plugged my LBC to my charger and went on with what i was doing and about 5 min later i look at it and notice the screen looked different. It said "Warranty Service". So i unplug it press fire button and it comes on , hits normal, but is still at 14%. So i plug it back in and it say Warranty Service again. So i switch to diff cable and its starts charging . Wierd because normally I use the cable that came with my dna75 because it charges at 1amp, the one im using now thats working charges at .22amps. Has this ever happend to anyone. I have no idea what the deal is.

The "Warranty Service" msg is, or appears to be, an Evolv last ditch, cryptic, error message.

I have seen it twice on two different DNA 200's. Shortly thereafter, longer in the second case, the mod was DOA. Both needed replacement of the board.

Watch closely...
