Note to all new LBC owners:
Many of you will be receiving your LBCs today or tomorrow; the device in and of itself is very straight forward. Please see evolv's website for directions to the board itself. Your device has been programmed to highlight the temp control possibilities of of,the DNA200. Your profiles are:
1. SS 316l
2. SS 316l
3. NiFe30
4. NiFe30
5. Titanium
6. Titanium
7. Nickel
8. Nickel
When a regular kanthal coil is sensed by the dna200 it reverts to normal power mode automatically and is limited at 150watts for non-temp control only (up from the stock 100w)

Be careful! The LBC has enough power to hurt you, please know, this going in. The point of the dna200 as well as the LBC isn't so much designed to be a 200w device because honestly it's designed to be a device that keeps up with you no matter what crazy power need you might have while being integrated into a no compromise bottom fed mod. I can say this enough; just because it will do 200watts doesn't mean it's some type of competition. Vape for your pleasure, vape for your comfort, and most of all a little common sense. If it hurts, stop; no one is impressed with how much power you torture yourself with. There are a lot of people in the bottom feeding community that just don't get the upshot of the dna200 in bottomfed vaping and that is purely their prerogative. Please; I beg you: don't become a statistic and fodder for the low power fanboys and their narrow minded diatribe. How's that for a warning label?

Now that we got through that....
All of the LBCs shipped to date have the 510 connection set at 4.5mm depth. This will cover most any atty that I have sold. I spec attys at 4.5mm- a max of 4.8mm. .3mm is a tiny gap. I would suggest living with it; but if you must adjust.....
Insert your atty and bottom it out on the 510 if the 510 is too deep or on the center pin is too short (check atomizer situation) loosen the 510 nut (with a 7mm 12 point combo wrench with the closed end) and loosen (do not remove)the nut. Once the nut is loose adjust the center pin up or down as need be.

********************************************************************************
DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT! Just go to town cranking on the 2mm Allen wrench top of the pin without loosening the nut, you will rip the copper buss connector off the board and at that point the board will have to be replaced. ***+++++
*********************************************************************************
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
You have been warned.
Follow that 1 rule and the LBC will last a very long time.

Why? you migh ask... Temp control requires very accurate measurements of the atty resistance in real time. The springs required for an automatic 510 when submerged in juice and then force fed the amounts of current that the LBC is capable of would become a failure point, I don't like failure points... I like rock solid contact and that exactly what the LBC delivers but will require a little work when changing attys of different lengths.

For easy adjustments I would suggest purchasing or running out to the garage and grabbing a 7mm combination wrench 12 point if you have a choice, either 6 pint or 12 point will work but 12 point works better. Your LBC already comes with a m2 Allen wrench, an extra bottle, and a heavy duty usb cord for charging. Your LBCs wre all shipped with a full charge so they are ready to go out of the box. The board is updated to the most recent firmware 2/23/16.

This could be out of ignorance with the DNA 200, but why two profiles for each wire?
I had a limited encounter with the YiHi chip in my SXM during my presquonking days, and I wasn't impressed (possibly because i was using mainly MTL RTAs).

Simply because there was enough room to do it that way, it gives you the option to set one up for single coil and one for dual coil.

The feel in your hand is like no other , you can actually feel the quality this is way past my imagination and I already know how it's going to vape but the look and feel is indescribable. i just got my lbc literally 5 minutes ago. i have to say tom this mod is built beautifully! the fit and finish is just incredible! the fit of the carbon to the body is nice and tight, the holes for the buttons and charging port are just perfect. i brought a prebuilt thump and some juice to work with me. it took me 5 minutes to have it vaping. it feels good in the hand too. actually smaller than i was picturing. thank you tom for putting your all into this mod. you can really tell the amount of detail you put into this. i am super impressed.

Hey Beez: fun fact; the egg crate foam cleans the DNA screen amazingly one or 2 runs on it and it perfect. Hand oils; no problem, errant juice; no problem. I actually discovered it by accident.
It's too damn pretty I don't even want to touch it let alone put juice in it[emoji106]
