look closely... The air comes in the top and hits a shelf at coil level directing the air directly at the coil. I'm no master of aerodynamics but it would seem the air in the maker would hit at the bottom of the coil and then proceed upward much like the manta but on a larger scale.

I think a manta, much like the chalice 3, is different in the sense that the conduits within the top piece channels the airflow from top down, with the outlet pointing the airflow directly at the coil.

At the scale of an atomizer + the inconsistent pressure from our inhale, the airflow is 100% turbulent flow, not laminar. So without a conduit to direct its path, it is chaotic, and especially after hitting that "shelf", is far more likely to spread in a way much like a mushroom cloud from an atomic detonation as opposed to being directed in a direction.

But heck, I could care less about the physics of it if the flavor is good, [emoji51][emoji51][emoji51].

Tom, have you tried the maker yourself? Curious to hear your thoughts

Note that the volume is screwy by mistake so some segments are much louder than others...sorry, you may have to fiddle with your volume a time or two. You also may feel a strong, burning desire to fiddle with a Maker after watching this vid :D

Very nice Sloth! I have an unexpected day off today, so I very much enjoyed watching this with my morning coffee.
I'd be very interested to know how this one would work for MTL. It looks like the airflow can close down, but what I don't know is if will work well with restricted airflow.

Met the Maker this morning. Tossed in a very quick 3mm 24 to 0.4. We have another keeper! Initial impression is that this thing is everything the Manta could of been. Six holes wide open, flavor and production is excellent. Very well made atty at a reasonable price. What's not to like about that? Need to play with a few more builds, but this one is working great for now.

Great video Slothman!!

Howdy,

Does any one know how wide the CAM-M is and also tall the rda gap is?

also, how much wider then a 22mm rda is the lip?

Body at 510 is 26.3mm wide and eyeballing the gap with the calipers it's about 2.5mm...Of course a flow ring/ vape band makes it all go away...;)

Body width in hand is 63.5 mm or 2.5 inches...

Anyone else trying to order and not able to send money through paypal to Tom?
I don't use PayPal directly. It's done via invoice and Chad. Just fill out the Stilare4 doc and when it's ready for you a doc will be sent to you. If you wish to wish to initiate and send payment PopMoney 0r mailed payments can be used for that but those details are handled via email. I work nights and sleep, when I can; hence my lack of response to your emails late this morning.

Ok I had sent money via Pop$ if that's ok or should I stop it and wait for the invoice arrive?
I just like handling it while I have the money. Thanks in advance and sorry if this is just another echo in your ear

The Maker is ripe for the dual one strand vert. First peek at the deck and it went straight to the notes...;)
