Be careful with VirtualBox. I ran VB with El Capitan on my MAC Air but had to reinstall my MAC OS (and everything else) coz, at that time VB was incompatible with El Capitan.

VB may have fixed the problem since, so do your due diligence (Google & the VB site).

The incompatibility is what moved me to PARALLELS.

As for Apple Boot Camp I had a bias against it, founded or unfounded...And, I did consider a Netbook but (already having a Win XP box running) Parallels was a less expensive (and now more stable) option.

to me, if you love your mac enough to have bought a mac in the first place, then why not just run this on your mac, even if it winds up costing the same as buying another pc?

I actually own a few different pc's already, but even so, I wind up using it on the mac all the time because I just like using the mac more in general. the thought of having another pc to maintain and to have to dig out another pc and boot it up just to connect to escribe alone made it worth it for me to do parallels, and having windows on the mac makes the mac itself even better because it means I now really hardly ever have to even bother with my other pc's even for other stuff besides escribe

I agree guys....love my Macs. Really found out about them when is was in the photo industry. I was a diehard PC fan and resisted but then learned about there abilities

You can do Parallells and windows 10 for about $200. It's silly for me to go out and buy a cheap PC IMHO

To get eScribe on my MBP I went from 7, to 8, to 10.

All MAC users will appreciate 10 over its predecessors, more Mac-like, less clunky Windows-like. (Yes, I was also once a Win-expert. [emoji851]

So yes, 10 is the way to go, especially if you are going to pay for a Windows version. If VB would have run XP conveniently I would have used that. But it was not a good fit/match.

for free windows here are 2 choices, either sign up for insider which will allow you to download a full windows install disc but right now there are no evaluation copies so it will allow you to dl and install, but then keep bugging you for a serial key. for this I would recommend windows 8.1 because it's less intrusive as an unregistered version than windows10, or, you could just dl and install windows as a virtual machine direct from microsoft too. this option gives you 90 days use but if you dl it and set it all up and then take a snapshot, once the 90 days is up you can just keep reverting back to the snapshot image to continue using it indefinitely.

Put the Kennedy on the new one..... Your newest one is self adjusting, the 1st gens need to be adjusted via loosening the 7mm nut on the bottom of the 510 and the 2mm Allen inside the 510 would need to be adjusted to suit, once adjusted and the atty still installed tighten the nut on the bottom of the 510. Or just use the Kennedy on the new one>....

Just for clarity: both the 510 pin and nut are standard threaded (not reverse threaded).

Hey guys and girls. This is my first post in this thread. I am Sebastian from Germany vaping since October last year. Pretty soon I switched form RTA to RDA and than to BF. My first BF Atty was a OdinV2 and it is still my favorite although I have tried a lot of others. What I found out is that Atties with air flow from the side is best for my purposes (like the odin). My Odins are working on Svapiamo Boxes, Reo LP Grand and Reo P67. Hopefully my CC mod will arrive end of this or beginning of next week.

What I have read to far is that the Stumpy is one of those who is used most likely by DLI people. I there somebody out there who can tell me wehre I can get a BF-ready Stumpy?

If you don't have access to the classifieds then go through the process. Then check them frequently. Several have been posted over the last couple of months. As of now though Stumpy's aren't being produce anymore. I like side air atties as well. One that I have tried as of late that I really like(and it isn't too hard to obtain) is the Hobo Drifter. Less air than the Stumpy but I never run my Stumpy wide open so that isn't an issue with me.
