The "Warranty Service" msg is, or appears to be, an Evolv last ditch, cryptic, error message.

I have seen it twice on two different dna 200's. Shortly thereafter, longer in the second case, the mod was DOA. Both needed replacement of the board.

I tried three diff cables , and wall plug things. My lost vapes cable(that slways charged at 1amp) is the one throwing up the "warranry service" message. The other two cables work and its charging but only at .20-.22amp , ive never had a prob before. I baby that mod, its never even been knocked over. I guess il be ordering a back up board. Is the dna250 is the same size as the 200?

No, the boards, as I have been told are of different sizes. I asked for a 250 for the 200 and was told the FDA regs excluded that possibility.

And since you mentioned Lost Vape I can say with certainty they will not put a 250 in their 200. I asked for that and was roundly denied.

IM going to order just the board from evolve or whoever i have to jusr to have a spare , just in case my LBC's chip takes a crap. If the 250 is the same exact size as the 200 i will just buy that.

So i just plugged my LBC to my charger and went on with what i was doing and about 5 min later i look at it and notice the screen looked different. It said "Warranty Service". So i unplug it press fire button and it comes on , hits normal, but is still at 14%. So i plug it back in and it say Warranty Service again. So i switch to diff cable and its starts charging . Wierd because normally I use the cable that came with my dna75 because it charges at 1amp, the one im using now thats working charges at .22amps. Has this ever happend to anyone. I have no idea what the deal is.

I had the same issue on one of mine, I tracked it down to a bad USB cable.

Try a new charging only cable. most of the cables that come with phones are charge/data. Most cables that will do data will limit charging to .5 amps or less.

The dna250 will work with no issues but it may decrease your battery lifetime due to the 2a charging. Also if you do go that direction be sure to set up your escribe with the numbers in the dna200. Also another recommendation: Fill out a Rma with evolve and send the board back to them, they will send you a replacement dna200 that you could keep as a spare if the 250 would suffer a similar issue.

The neon yellow mod pictured has a dna250 installed. The dna250 is slightly deeper but the LBC has the room to accommodate. I installed the 250 in mine exactly the same way as I would have installed the 200.

How much are the goons?

I have a pair of goon lps on the way as personals and for research purposes. Wholesale will be available in January at such time I will order them for re-sale. That said; I do have 22mm and 24mm goons in black or ss available currently. As I recall they were 70(ss) or 80(black) plus shipping. As I recall 22mm goons were $10 less respectively.

Ok I'm gonna watch a few vids and decide which would work best for my style of vaping, or whether I should just wait for the LP. From the above vid, the LP looks like it may not work well with single coil builds. Maybe I'm missing something, but it looks like the opposite side of the deck would get flooded with unused juice, or would it flow back into the bottle?

Nope... I took this year off, I got tired of lasagna as did a few my other peeps. We went with a pair standing rib roasts this year. Nothing says carnivore like 20lbs of prime rib and 2 giant spanikopita platters preceded by a huge Greek salad.

Try a new charging only cable. most of the cables that come with phones are charge/data. Most cables that will do data will limit charging to .5 amps or less.

It was the cable i think, found a diff cable that charges at 1amp and it worked and my LBC is working fine. The weird thing is that the suspect cable will still charge my phone . Thanks for the advice. Im still going to get a couple xtra chips to have just in case or to use on a mod enclosure in the future. Thanks Tom , and Merry Christmas Ohmies!!

Anyone else have opinions on which regular goon works best with single coil?

I have the 22mm Goon I got from Tom. Works good with a single coil. Juice can flow from one side to the other and/or back in the bottle. It has airholes on 3 sides for single coil option. I think the lp only has 2 sides with air slots for dual coils but I'm not certain about that.

I've been contemplating jumping on the Goon bandwagon but seeing the LP video, I have to ask: Does the original have the same internally placed o-ring for the drip tip? Seems a little tedious if it needs to be replaced or for removal to clean. For me, internally placed o-rings seem to get cut easier when you remove them.
